Want to start using Instagram for your cabi business? Here are some steps to help you set up your profile and connect with your clients and friends.

Instagram Guide 1 DOWNLOAD INSTAGRAM TO YOUR PHONE Instagram is a mobile platform. Therefore, you must download the iPhone or Android app to your smartphone to start using it.

SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT Once you’ve downloaded the app, sign up for an account. You can choose a username and password or register with your personal Facebook account. One of the benefits of logging in with your Facebook profile is that it will give you the opportunity to connect with your Facebook contacts allowing you to leverage your existing network rather than starting from scratch.

Even if you don’t register with your Facebook account, Instagram will ask you if you want to find your Facebook friends.

Instagram Guide 2 EDIT YOUR PROFILE Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your “feed.” To add a profile photo, a bio, and a link to your website, follow these steps and refer to the images below:

• Go to your profile by tapping on the right bottom corner • Tap Edit Your Profile • Type in your name, username, website, or bio • Tap Done (iPhone), Save (Android), or the check mark (Windows Phone)

Instagram Guide 3 CONNECT YOUR FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE Optional: If you have a cabi Facebook business page, you can connect this to your Instagram account. This is only available for iPhone users. To start sharing on your cabi Facebook business page, you need to grant Instagram access to it. Follow the steps below:

• From your main page go to Options • Scroll down to Preferences and tap on Share Settings • Select Facebook

• By default it will post to your timeline. To grant access to your business page, select Authorize Access. • You’ll be redirected to Facebook and you’ll be asked to grant access to the pages you manage. Select OK. Select your page, and voila!

Instagram Guide 4 START SHARING PHOTOS Now that your account is set up, start sharing your business content with your followers. Follow the steps and images below:

• To upload a photo, just click on the camera icon • Select a photo: You can take a new photo in Instagram, which works just like your phone’s camera, or you can select a photo you already have in your camera roll. • Select a filter: This step is optional but after you select the photo, you select the filter. This is where you can play around with the colors or add borders

• Type a brief caption: We suggest you to include the #cabiclothing in your cabi-related posts as well as any other hashtags you want to use • Select where to share your photo: Instagram has a new option which allows you to share your photo with all of your followers or sending a direct message to 15 people. You can also tag people in your post by using the @ symbol before their username. You can also choose your other social networks to share your post as long as your account is connected.
