Information
Safety regulations for drivers on SBB sites:
- High-visibility safety vest - Licence for transporting hazardous goods (if required) - Safety footwear - Protective glasses
This always applies to the entire SBB site
Important: Never open the cover under an overheard contact line while loading and unloading! Risk of death!
The following collection services use tarpaulins covers:
• Yverdon(sometimes also possible with semi–trailers) • Olten (always with semi–trailers, uncouple the trailer, recouple the full trailer) • Zurich Hohlstrasse 400, Bellinzona Via Officina 18, and for bogies and wheelsets.
Requirements for the vehicle and loading safety:
• A lifting platform is required for all vehicles. (Apart from in Olten semi–trailer) • Tarpaulins covers • Only use lashing straps, no chains etc. • Use the latest loading safety regulations. Charges will apply for any damage.
Information about sending post:
