Cabin Fever

It was about mid-June, and Jennifer and a few of her friends were at a campground near a lake. They decided to swim for a while, when it started to rain. They didn't think anything of it until Jennifer's mom came out and told them to come inside. They got dressed and sat in the living area of the cabin. They were extremly bored so they went looking for some board games. They found Monopoly, , and a board. They decided to take the Ouija board out for a while.

They were playing with it, and like anyone else would, they were accusing people of moving the cheap plastic triangle. After a lot of laughing, they actually started to concentrate. About five minutes went by and they finally came in contact with a spirit. The spirit claimed it's name to be Jeanie. She vaguely told them that her husband and herself were in cabin number twelve. She said that she was very scared of the man in black who was trying to break into the cabin. She said she needed help fast. The girls didn't know whether to believe this or not, so they went on a little trip over to cabin number twelve. When they got there they saw a run down cabin with police tape, broken windows, and a knocked down door. It looked like this could have happened years ago. They went back to their cabin and got back on the Ouija board. This time they couldn't get a spirit to show up for them. They didn't know if this was just coincidence or if they really made contact with a spirit. They got kind of scared thinking about it, so they got out Monopoly instead.

Visit of the Unexpected You know who they are... The ones who speak to you in the dark... The ones your dog barks at... You know, the ones you can't escape from. Well, I know this person who went to a friends house for a sleep over when her parents were gone, only to find out it was haunted. The night started out normal. They watched movies and played board games.

As the night got darker the house came alive. First it was just the misplace of her belongings that she left in her friends room. She didn't think nothing of it; her friend had a younger sister that was home with them. When they got hungry and decided to pop some popcorn in the microwave, the microwave stoped in the middle of its task. The friend started it back up as if nothing had happened and it stopped again. She repeated this until the friend said she wasn't really hungry for popcorn anyway. Her friend agreed and they went to her living room to watch some television. Her sister came in because she was hearing noises in her closet, or like all little kids; scared of the dark.

They tried to get some sleep when they heard someone knocking at the door down stairs. Her friend got up and went to see who it was. As soon as she left the room the lamp they had on turned off and the door slammed downstairs. The little girl screamed and the lights turned off soon after and the little girl was gone. Her friend came back and said that there was no one at the door downstairs. She asked where her sister was and when she found out she disapeared she just said well lets get some sleep she probably went back into her room for the night. It started to rain outside that they were sure that the little girl would come back to the room because of the lightening and thunder. But she never did.

Finally morning came and when they woke up they went to check on her sister. She wasn't in her room, so they searched the house. The dog was barking at the closet door near the front door. They opened it up and found her sister sleeping. The little girl was so angry when she woke up. "Why did you lock me in here," she said. The girls were astonished they told her they had no idea what she was talking about. The little girl told them that they dragged her down into the closet and told her that she had to hide in there till morning and that THEY were coming, and if she wasn't quiet that THEY would find her. The two girls told her that they didn't have anything to do with what she had just told them. They were wondering who had done this and never found out. They will probably never know. But after that night the house was never known to haunt again.
