MARCH 25: FRIDAY Coach will depart this morning for Atlanta where we will fly Delta to with stop en-route.

MARCH 26: SATURDAY We will head south of Amalfi toward Paestum by motor-coach and overnight at nearby Salerno. For the remainder of the day we will explore the many winding and ancient streets in center of Salerno.

MARCH 27: SUNDAY This day with your guide begins with one of the most perfect sites you will ever see – the Greek Temples at Paestum and the accompanying museum. In the afternoon, we visit the Amalfi area with a guide, including and less populated Minori. We drive on to Sorrento where we will enjoy the life of this town for the next three nights.

MARCH 28: MONDAY Today we visit the isle of Capri – a full day with guide to help us explore the ups and downs of this mountainous island. Dinner in the town is included tonight.

MARCH 29: TUESDAY

Today we visit Pompeii, a vast archaeological site in ’s region. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried in meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 C.E. Our guide will explain the history, look, and feel throughout this unforgettable day.

MARCH 30: WEDNESDAY Travel to the Eternal City. It was so called because the Roman people thought that no matter what happened to the world, no matter how many other empires might rise and fall, Rome would go on forever. On our way into the city, we will stop by the original Rome to Naples road, “The ,” complete with original chariot blocks & tracks and many archeological remains. This is a good late afternoon to see , , the Pantheon, and .

MARCH 31: THURSDAY Today we visit places you may have imagined you could see. The Vatican Museum with Michelangelo’s ceiling and St. Peter’s magnificent Basilica are the focus of the morning. You will also see The Church of St. Peter in Chains and Michelangelo’s Moses. The afternoon is devoted to Rome’s with an inside the walls visit as well as the .

APRIL 1: FRIDAY This is a full day in Rome at your leisure but the group will have some optional actives if you would like to join. Visit the Borghese gardens and museum, San Clemente Church with amazing mosaics, or simply enjoy the luxury of a “play day” in this great city.
