This paper presents the issue of a long research on the representation of the complex surface in descriptive geometry. The ability to use the different techniques of representation aims to achieve results that you didn’t image before. In Palermo University, at the Engineering School, the researcher involved the study on the simplify of the so elaborated way to represent the geometry and its applications in architecture buildings and engineering implants. There is just report below the application methods to represent one of the most used surfaces in the practice of buildings.

  • Mantua SIMPLY WONDERFUL Piazza Sordello
MANTUA SIMPLY WONDERFUL Piazza Sordello MANTUA. SIMPLY WONDERFUL Those who arrive in Mantua are captivated by its unique, timeless allure and welcoming atmosphere. A city which enjoys a breathtaking panorama when viewed from the shores of its lakes. It appears as though it is suspended above the water, a protagonist of an almost surreal landscape, composed of a balance of history, art and nature. Mantua is a city to be visited with ample time, consideration and serenity. The city squares, passageways and cobblestone streets invite the visitor to slowly take in every one of its monuments and historic buildings in order to understand just why it has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site along with the neighboringneighbouring town of Sabbioneta. Mantua weaves history, art and culture together everywhere and it is surrounded by an unparalleled natural atmosphere. Unique and magical places that make Mantua simply wonderful. 2 View of the city Mantua at sunset 3 Sabbioneta MANTUA AND SABBIONETA: WORLD HERITAGE SITE July of 2008 is the month when Mantua and neighbouring Sabbioneta where introduced to the list of World Heritage Sites as a unique point of importance. Both cities enjoyed moments of great design importance during the renaissance. Designed and created by the same ruling family, the Gonzaga, two different but complimentary models were applied for each location. In fact, Sabbioneta is a newer city realized by Vespasiano Gonzaga in the second half of the sixteenth century as the ideal capital for his duchy; Mantua instead presents itself as a transformation of an existing city, which changed the ancient urban configuration.

In the evening you will meet our tour-leader and your travel companions and enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight in hotel. Day 2 - Wednesday: MONREALE - PALERMO (hotel in Palermo) After breakfast in hotel, the morning will be spent visiting Monreale, its huge Norman Cathedral, proclaimed the Eighth Wonder of the World, and its splendid Cloister in Arab-Norman style: admirable masterpiece of art, sculpture, and semi-precious stones marquetry! Later you will discover the stunning Palermo, one of the richest towns in the island for its history and art. Palermo stands on a bay dominated by Mount Pellegrino, a headland described by Goethe as the loveliest he had ever seen. While the Baroque predominates, there is a profusion of different architectural styles reflecting the city’s multicultural past: Punic walls, Art Nouveau villas, noble residences, 17th century squares, including an elegant opera house. Visit of the wonderful eclectic Cathedral, the astonishing Martorana Church and the amazing Cappella Palatina, admirable example from an historical and an artistic point of view, and a prove of how different cultures, religions and way of thinking apparently incompatible can coexist. Ruggero II employed Bizantyne, Muslim and Latin workers. During the day, you will have a stop for a surprise to taste the local street food in the famous Antica Focacceria San Francesco. UNESCO World Heritage properties in Switzerland February 2021 www.whes.ch Welcome Dear journalists, Thank you for taking an interest in Switzerland’s World Heritage proper- ties. Indeed, these natural and cultural assets have plenty to offer: en- chanting cityscapes, unique landscapes, historic legacies and hidden treasures. Much of this heritage was left to us by our ancestors, but nature has also played its part in making the World Heritage properties an endless source of amazement. There are three natural and nine cultur- al assets in total – and as unique as each site is, they all have one thing in common: the universal value that we share with the global community. “World Heritage Experience Switzerland” (WHES) is the umbrella organisation for the tourist network of UNESCO World Heritage properties in Switzerland. We see ourselves as a driving force for a more profound and responsible form of tourism based on respect and appreciation. In this respect we aim to create added value: for visitors in the form of sustainable experiences and for the World Heritage properties in terms of their preservation and appreciation by future generations. The enclosed documentation will offer you the broadest possible insight into the diversity and unique- ness of UNESCO World Heritage. • AEOLIAN ISLANDS STROMBOLI Day One: Stromboli
AEOLIAN ISLANDS STROMBOLI Day One: Stromboli Stromboli is the northernmost island of the archipelago and the most spectacular for its continuously active volcano. On the way, you will stop for a nice swim in the clear blue water. At sunset the lava from the volcano glowes as it makes its way down to meet the sea with a loud hiss. To watch the eruptions is especially impressive at night Enjoy the volcanic eruptions lighting up the night sky, a fiery display of nature’s incredible power, while you taste the tasteful delicacies of the chef under the stars. PANAREA Day Two/Three: Panarea Morning departure for Panarea. Panerea is tiny, compared to the other islands, but is the most picturesque with its stark white houses and brilliant yellow ginestra bushes. This island is chic and exclusive. By boat is the best way to explore its coastline and enjoy its clear waters that, together with a thriving underwater landscape make this island the best place for snorkeling and diving in the Aeolians. The island’s charm lies not only in its natural beauty but in its unspoiled character and car-free tracks. Most of the beaches are only accessible by sea, like Lisca Bianca, Basiluzzo and Spinazzola. Panerea is also called the "jet-set" island as it is crowded with young celebrities and its nightlife is particularly lively. SALINA Day Four: Salina Salina is a lush island with thick yellow gorse bushes and terraced vineyards. The island is also known for its delicious Malvasia wine, produced in both red and white varieties.
