Your days might start with a stroll to the bakery or to the other shops in the local village, followed by a trip to the nearby sandy beaches at Ogliastro Marino, Acciaroli, Punta Licosa or Punta Tresino: there are several Blue Flag beaches to choose from in this area. There are also plenty of pretty places to visit, such as Acciaroli, an authentic fishing village which still preserves much of its original charm, and Castellabate and Agropoli which boast attractive medieval old towns. Walking along the coastal path is a lovely way to appreciate the unspoilt beauty of this protected area of Southern Campania. Further afield you can reach some popular destinations such as Vietri sul Mare and the Amalfi coast, or the impressive Ancient Greek archaeological sites of Paestum and Velia, all ideal for days out. A trip idea: the two major archaeological sites of Paestum and Velia are both about 19 miles away (in opposite directions): this part of Italy once formed part of Ancient Greece. You can also visit the Amalfi coast just west of Salerno: Vietri sul Mare is famous for its exquisite ceramics and would make a feasible and memorable day trip.
