Grimaldi launches a new service Genova-

The new MoS will be launched on the 22nd of November with a three-times-a

week-frequency

The continues its policy of expanding and strengthening its Motorways of the Sea network announcing an innovative initiative: as from the 22nd of November the Neapolitan Group, which has been offering regular three-times-a-week services between the ports of , , and Valencia for over 10 years, will launch a new maritime link dedicated to the transport of rolling freight between the ports of and Valencia, Spain.

The new line will have a three-times-a-week frequency both ways: departures from Genoa will be every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 5 a.m., while departures from Valencia will be every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

The Genoa-Valencia route will be served by the two modern ro/ro vessels “Eurocargo Valencia” and “Craig Side”, each able to transport 1,600 trailers per week both ways, together with 72 trucks and 1,500 cars.

The transit-time of the new Motorway of the Sea will be about 24 hours, thus avoiding not only the congestion of a road route of over 1,300 kilometers, but also by ensuring fuel efficiency, regularity and punctuality of delivery. Moreover, the port of Valencia is considered the natural port of Madrid as it is located only 350 km from the Spanish capital.
