四国工業株式会社 K Shikoku Industries Co.,Ltd O G Y O I KO H KU S 環境に優しい技術で貢献する 四国工業株式会社 K SHIKOKU INDUSTRIES CO.,LTD O G Y O 日本語・・・ P 1 ~ English・・・ P 9 ~ Corporate Profile We support precision machining with our technology. Today, all machinery and electronic equipment requires a lot of precision machined parts. In addition, house- hold appliances and cars in daily life are manufactured with the use of machine tools which require the use of high precision components. Without optimal combination of precision machined parts, contemporary cars or electronic devices could not operate at full performance and would have trouble meeting energy saving or fuel efficiency goals. And only machine tools assembled with highly precision machined components are able to process precision parts. We at Shikoku Industries design and manufacture machines which wash precision parts and also coolant systems which are indispensable to the machining of precision parts. Our products make a contribution not only to keep up and improve machining accuracy, but also to save time in the cleaning and maintenance of equip- ment, and to reduce industrial waste which precision machining entails. Through research and development and also improvements, current models are born. We will continue development and will refine our technology that supports precision machin- ing to exceed customers’ expectations. Tadakatsu Maeno, President Precision parts are going to continue to be an integral part of our lives and improve our living conditions. As a company involved with the manufacture of them, we promise to improve life for all and to make efforts to contribute to society. Major Products ■ SludgeCut Conventional coolant systems have various problems. Magnetic separation systems are incapable of separating abrasive particles from the grinding sludge, and the filtration separation system requires frequent filter replacement, which results in increased industrial waste. In addi- tion, cleaning accumulated sludge from the tank requires painstaking work. Our SludgeCut solves the problems presented by other coolant systems. We developed the SludgeCut as a separation device that successfully removes all sludge produced in the process of manufacturing precisely ground parts. ■ Precision Component Washer Since the development in 1970, we have continued studies to design and manu- facture more excellent machine. *Precision Component Washer is designed exclusively for JTEKT CORPORATION. 009 SludgeCut [PatentPatent no.no.3313343] ■ Short History of the SludgeCut development April 1994 Research and development of minute sludge separating system started. February 1999 The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency acknowledged us as “Venture Corporation”. September 1999 “High-Precision Sludge Dividing System with Permanent Magnet” was acknowledged as “Commis- sioned Development Project” by Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry. October 2000 High-Precision Sludge Dividing System (SludgeCut) was released. May 2002 We patented "the development of the dividing system of minute sludge in grinding fluid". July 2009 V-model dividing system developed. The model achieved major improvement of processing rate and downsizing. November 2009 Developed the technology of precipitating and discharging floating sludge. (Patented) September 2013 New S model SludgeCut released. (Patent pending) ■ Features of the SludgeCut ●SludgeCut removes all kinds of sludge, from sludge produced by heavy duty grinding to sludge from fine polishing procedures. ●Applicable for superfinishing machines, lapping machines, honing machines, broaching machines, thread grinding machines, gear grinding machines, shaving machines, gear hobbing machines, external and internal cylindrical grinding machines, surface grinding machines, multi-functional grinding machines, lathes, forging machines (iron oxide), and hardening machines (iron oxide). ●SludgeCut's unique mechanism removes particles that cause coolant degradation from the grinding liquid. ●Changing filters is not necessary. ■Mechanism of rapid precipitation dividing system The mechanism magnetizes, condenses and precipitates minute sludge. (Patent no.3313342) 1.Minute sludge floating in coolant liquid minute sludge sludge floating in liquid 2.Sludge magnetized by passing through magnetic field N-pole S-pole 3.Magnetized sludge condenses and precipitates. condensed minute sludge precipitates rapidly precipitates rapidly magnetized and condensed sludge ●Precipitated sludge is discharged by magnet conveyor installed under the bottom of the tank. At the same time, particles from the grinding wheel precipitated in the bottom of the tank are also discharged. The removal mecha- nism and the tank are combined, in order that sludge does not accumulate in the tank.
