The Zellhof Environment Badge

The Zellhof Environment badge is a well-loved activity offered by Zellhof for already more than 25 years and has been developed continuously. Scouts and guides carry out tasks with their group on the theme of nature and the environment, and in doing so, can earn the Zellhof Environment badge. With the broad range of available tasks we try to cover all aims of the World Scout Environment Programme and give ideas for interesting activities for different age groups.

Activities and program possibilities

Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof has received exceptional permission to allow canoe excursions on the Grabensee lake. Scouts and guides may experience the beauty of nature in this way in a protected landscape. Scout groups have the possibility to hire our canoes and rowing boats at Grabensee lake and Mattsee lake. - 6 -

Scout groups are able to hire bicycles at the scout centre for their activities. A cycle path passes directly by Zellhof, connecting with a network of cycle paths around the Salzburg Lake District.

The surrounding foothills are very suitable for multi-day hikes. You discover mainly unfrequented mountain woodland up to 1300m. For experienced hikers, there are several beautiful mountain tours that lead to higher alpine areas up to 2000 m.
