Received excellent feedback from students, and an ‘honourable mention’ for teaching excellence by the Department of Philosophy. Served as referee for several MA and MPhil applications both in the UK and USA. 2009–2010 Teaching Tutor in Philosophy One-to-one or two-to-one essay supervisions for final year BA students on Ancient Philosophy. Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) 2005–2008 Guide at Trondheim Science Centre Led experiments and activities for visitors and groups, explained the science exhibition and helped with the daily running of the centre. Group Leader at the centre’s summer school on aerodynamics. 3 2005–2007 Student Assistant in Philosophy (Examen Philosophicum), Faculty of Philosophy Provided detailed essay feedback and taught academic writing for several groups of 15-25 students. ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE AND OUTREACH 2017-2018 Conference organiser, ‘Plato’s Alcibiades I Revisited’ (20th–22nd Sept. 2018) 2016-2017 Open day in Classics, St John’s College: Offered a lecture on ancient philosophy for visiting sixth form students and participated in the open day. St John’s College Essay Competition in Classics: Responsible for the Ancient Philosophy component of this annual competition. Lecture in Ancient Philosophy for Sixth Form students, Brentwood School. 2015–2016 Convener, Cambridge Women in Philosophy (WiP) Lead conference organiser, ‘Women in the History of Philosophy’ (9th June 2016) ‘Women in the History of Philosophy’ was WiP’s first conference, featuring seven invited speakers. Topics spanned from women in the Pythagorean tradition to the contributions of black women in 20th century philosophy.
