Research Interests

I have diverse, multidisciplinary, and innovative research interests. My current research focus is on the soil invertebrate diversity on the eastern edge of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots. I specifically focus on the diversity, function, and spatio-temporal distribution of soil fauna and on the responses of soil fauna to climate change, degradation of alpine meadows, and grazing. I conduct this research in the forest and alpine meadow ecosystems of the Hengduan Mountains and the Zoigê Alpine Wetland. In the future, I will be interested in the soil microbial ecology because of the close relationship between soil invertebrates and soil microbes. My other past research interests can be seen from my published articles. Education
