Hello Bed-Stuy/Brooklyn Artists!

The Audre Lorde Project’s SOS Collective is throwing the first ever Bed-Stuy Pride on Sunday, August 21st, and we are searching for fabulous and talented folks to take to the stage! We are really excited to have a line up of artists ranging from DJs to Spoken Word, Dancers, Drag performers, voguers... you name it, we want to see it!

A few things to consider when you are excitedly preparing to show us what you got: - We are dedicated to having Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non Conforming People Of Color Repped and doing their thing! (If you ID as an ally please contact us to find out how you can volunteer in other ways)

-We are dedicated to prioritizing fabulous local Bed-Stuy Artists

- We are looking for folks who have minimal props for sake of logistics and fluidity of the show

- Your material should be free of Homophobia, Transphobia, Ableism, Racism, Classism, Sexism, Ageism, Xenophobia and Sizeism. These isms/oppressions are Not Cute and we DON’T want to see that, thank you very much.

- Your Set should be under 20 minutes please!

- This Gig is unpaid, HOWEVER, you will be able to sell your merch to over 500 excited and fantastic Bed-Stuy Residents. Amazing? We think so.
