COMPETITION FOR NEW OWNERS

Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony have joined forces with the Horse Agility Club to offer new

owners the chance to show just how good Dartmoor Hill Ponies can be and win £100 .

To qualify to take part in this unique competition the pony must have been bought from the drift sales taking place in Tavistock on 4th October or Chagford on 10 th October 2013.

The new owners will then have six months to train their ponies to complete a specially designed agility course, film it and send it to the Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony.

The competition will be judged by a panel of three judges. It will be based on good handling and accurate completion of the basic obstacle course.

Charlotte Faulkner, from Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony, said: “I am hoping it will encourage people to take on one of these wonderful ponies, giving them a value and a future.”

For more information on how to enter the competition or about the Hill Ponies on Dartmoor please phone Charlotte Faulkner on 01364 631036 or 07734 785644 or email [email protected] . Also have a look at www.friendsofthedartmoorhillpony.com .
