Vocations Retreat at Buckfast : 22nd – 24th March 2019 ‘Call on me, and I will show you great and wonderful things which you have not known’ (Jeremiah 33:3) A two-day retreat with space to pray and reflect on the call of God and what it might mean for you in the beautiful monastic setting of , near , . Parish Pilgrimage Walk – Friday 15th March – Chagford - Okehampton We will be repeating the Parish Pilgrimage Walk between Holy Family, Chagford to St Boniface, Okehampton on 15th March setting off from Chagford at 10.30 am. Return transport will be arranged. If anyone interested in joining please add your name to the list at the back of the church. Racial Justice Sunday: Today we are invited to pray for “Dignity for all workers” the Catholic Bishop’s Conference have asked that we recognise problems faced by people due to racism in the workforce. Prayer cards are available in the porch. Connect Sunday: The Connect team in help the youth in our area cope with many issues they are faced with, the Connect team rely heavily on the support of local churches generosity, if you are able to make a donation envelopes are available in the porch. There is more information on the notice board. The next meeting of CWL will take place on THURSDAY 28TH FEBRUARY, and NOT Wednesday 27th, at the usual time of 10.30am in the hall. PPC Meeting: The next PPC meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th March at 7.30pm in the church hall. Committee members please make every effort to attend. CATECHIST FORMATION CONTINUES! ‘Ongoing Formation & the Catechism of the ’ on Saturday, February 23rd and ‘Children’s Liturgy of the Word’, for all those who help with Children’s Liturgy, on Saturday, March 23rd. Both events are at St. Peter’s, Crownhill, Plymouth – 9.30am Mass, 10am refreshments, 10.30am start and 1pm finish. Retreats in the Diocese of Plymouth: The Lenten Quiet Day of Prayer will take place on March 23rd 2019 early bookings are advisable.
