Volumul cuprinde rezultatele cercetărilor începute în urmă cu doi ani asupra interferențelor româno-maghiare. Proiectul „Limba și literatura - bazele păstrării identității românilor și maghiarilor din PA Voivodina” este realizat cu sprijinul financiar al Secretariatului Provincial pentru Învăţământul Superior şi Activitatea de Cercetare Ştiinţifică din P.A. Voivodina. Volumul reunește studii, care, în cea mai mare parte, au fost prezentate în cadrul mesei rotunde „Interferențe culturale și literare româno- maghiare”, organizate la Facultatea de Filosofie din Novi Sad în luna decembrie 2018. Această idee a fost primită pozitiv de oamenii de știință de la noi și din România, încât am ajuns de acord să continuăm cu acest demers, socotind că deținem foarte puține cunoștințe despre cultura popoarelor conlocuitoare din Serbia, România și Ungaria. Rezultatul este volumul doi de studii interculturale româno-maghiare, care, să sperăm, va fi de mare folos pentru cercetările ulterioare cu privire la această temă. Editorii УВОДНА РЕЧ Зборник садржи резултате истраживања универзитетских професора из Румуније и Србије у оквиру пројекта „Језик и књижевност - основе очувања идентитета Румуна и Мађара у АП Војводини”, чије објављивање је финансијски подржао Покрајински секретаријат за високо образовање и научноистраживачку делатност АП Војводине. У зборнику се налазе радови презентовани на Округлим столу о „Румунско-мађарским културним и књижевним везама”, организованим на Филозофском факултету у Новом Саду у месецу децембру 2018. године. Ова тема је била позитивно прихваћена од стране научних радника код нас и у Румунији, те смо дошли до закључка да треба наставити са оваквом врстом истраживања, сматрајући да поседујемо врло мало знања о култури других народа у Србији, Румунији и Мађарскох. Резултат је други по реду зборник о румунско-мађарским културним и историјским везама који ће, надамо се, бити од велике користи за даља истраживања на ову тему. PETRU CÂRDU, ARTIST AND CULTURAL ACTIVIST Carmen DĂRĂBUȘ Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, North University Centre of Baia Mare, Romania/I.L.R./”St. Kliment Ohridski”University of Sofia Introduction The status and evolution of ethnic communities in the Diaspora depend on several factors, such as the democracy and permissiveness of the majority group that the former entered, the cohesion of the group, the interest in assuming a certain type of identity, the proximity or distance in relation to the home country, the perpetuation of the connection with the evolution of the homeland’s language, culture and civilization. In this respect, the occurrence and development of Romanian-language literature in the Diaspora plays an important role. In old, historical communities in the Diaspora (like those in Hungary, Ukraine, the Timok Valley and Vojvodina) oral literature grew into written literature, while recent emigration seems to favor the establishment of a form of written literature. The first Romanian publications in the Serbian Banat date from the end of the nineteenth century; they have a primarily pedagogical nature and a secondarily cultural one: Steaua [The star], Convorbiri Pedagogice [Pedagogical conversations], Educatorul [The educator], Familia [The family], Opinca [The peasant’s sandal]. INTRODUCTION Voïvodina, a region in Northern Serbia, is the southern part of the Pannonian plane, bordering with Croatia on the west, Romania on the east and Hungary to the north. The surface area is 21,506 km2, almost as large as Slovenia, with two million inhabitants of some twenty different nationalities. At the end of the IXth century, the Hungarians colonised Voïvodina, which became part of the Kingdom of Hungary and stayed so until the Turkish occupation in 1529. When the latter ended at the turn of the XVII-XVIIIth centuries, Voïvodina was part of the Kingdom of Hungary until 1918. The region's inter-ethnic complexity is rooted in the XVIIIth century Habsburg policy of repopulation, which brought in people from the various nationalities that made up their empire at the time: Serbians fleeing Ottoman rule, Croatians, Hungarians, Germans, Slovaks, Ruthenes, etc. The events of 1848-49 had repercussions in Voïvodina, which was transformed into a region enjoying a modicum of autonomy, with the Emperor François-Joseph bearing the title Voïvode. It was then joined to Hungary in 1860, and then the Austro-Hungarian empire in 1867. Within the Compromise of 1867, Austria and Hungary undertook to treat all the various nationalities on an equal basis, and recognised the equality of all the empire's languages in schools, the administration and public life.

    LUCIAN TURCU1 THE SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE UNION OF TRANSYLVANIA WITH ROMANIA Abstract: This study analyses the religious consequences of the Union of Transylvania with the Kingdom of Romania, which took place on 1 December 1918. Emphasis is laid on the situation of the main denominations in Hungary and their relations with political power up until the breakup of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, after World War I. Light is shed on the political responses of the religious leaders of the Transylvanian confessional communities to the decision regarding the Union of Transylvania with Romania. Attention is given to their horizon of expectations concerning the legislation issued by the new Romanian state, as well as to the Romanians‟ desire to maintain the rights they previously held. Moreover, the study also analyses the ever more strained relations, after 1918, between the two Romanian confessions (Orthodox and Greek-Catholic), pointing out the changes that were brought about by the main enactments adopted in the third decade of the 20th century, which modified their status and governed their activity. Keywords: ethnic-confessional minorities, rights, Greater Romania, the Orthodox Church, the ethnicity-confession relation. * It is well known today that one of the components of the rich dowry with which Transylvania announced its entry into the Romanian state resided in the ethnic, linguistic and cultural mosaic across its territory.2 The management of the situation of the ethnic minority groups raised serious problems for the Romanian public administration after December 1, 1918, due to the fact that they approached differently the decision of the union taken by the Romanians at that time.

Being in competition with several alternative forms of news, non-professional or even deliberately manipulated news, professional jour- nalism should be empowered by new competencies and skills. Opportunities enabled by digital technologies, such as processing, analysing and visualising large amounts of data, as well as multi-sectoral and digital cross-border co-operations, open new fields of journalistic activities, and new ways to speak about public issues. However, this environment also entails technical and economic risks, and demands expertise in IT security, as well as the development of business models and strategies from journalists and media companies. Journalists face several ethical challenges that should be handled to meet their social responsibilities. Fake news and hate speech have become major issues in the public sphere, as have whistleblowing and activism. By improving skills of a new generation of European journalists, NEWSREEL will con- tribute to the strengthening of the common European democratic public sphere. It will do so by improving collaborative and cross-border journalism that is able to elaborate and make tangible the huge amount of available data, and which is based on a predict- able business strategy and a firm ethical foundation. The main goal of the project is developing e-learning materials connected to four fields: data journalism, new business models, collaborative journalism and ethical challenges.

It was created with the push of the Council of Europe, who supported the participation of 7 Albanian journalists at the conference of the Regional Regulatory Bodies of the Balkans. In 2015, these journalists came back with the idea of creating the AMC. Koloreto Cukali was elected Chairman. Brief history and signifcant In 2017, with the help of UNESCO they managed to get funding and started milestones operations, setting up an ofce and a Board of Ethics. in 2018 the website of AMC became operational, as well as a smartphone app. In 2018 AMC in cooperation with Media Institute completed an updated version of The Code of Ethics.     Višnja Ba ćanovi ć «FEMALE CANDIDATES» Monitoring the presence of female candidates in the Media during the pre-election campaigns for the Local and Provincial Elections 2008. 1. Introduction Gender equity in politics i.e. the increase of number of female decision makers requires not only legal regulations and recommendations, but breaking of prejudices and promotion of female leaders as well. If female candidates want to be successful in elections and become decision makers first they should be listed on election lists. Moreover, they should become visible and well promoted during the pre-election campaigns. The manner in which female candidates are presented to the voters, issues they emphasize as important and political principles they advocate are all important for the public recognition and visibility of women in politics. Quantity and quality of females in politics are equally important. Quality of political contents, quality of performed activities, as well as the presentation of such activities is important for the braking of stereotypes and prejudices towards female politicians and for the promotion of females as quality politicians. Data obtained during this monitoring should answer the following: -whether the public services met the required standards regarding pre- election campaigns and the promotion of female candidates -whether the quota system is effective regarding the media representation of female politicians; the ratio of female candidates in the media (compared to male candidates) -who do the female candidates address in their campaigns and what is the message they are spreading A media monitoring means a systematic tracking of media production in order to receive an objective insight into the characteristics of the media content offered to the audience.
