“PAMELA Evolution” is going to be a youth exchange organized in Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Germany which will include 36 young people and 7 group leaders from 6 different countries: Spain, Italy, North Macedonia, Greece, Croatia and Germany.

Short info about the exchange:
In this project we will concentrate on burning issues in Europe, such as social inequality, lack of inclusion of minorities and refugees and lack of youth activism in local communities. We believe that the voice of young people who are also victims of social inequality should be the loudest. We want to empower the youth to use art in a constructive way, to share their emotions, opinions and ideas in their local community. Main goal for the project is: Youth activism and artistic expression among youth in Europe
Specific goals of the project are: 1. Interest and empower youth to express through art 2. To raise awareness about importance of inclusion of minorities and refugees in the society 3. To give tools to youth and inspire them to become active citizens in their society and to deal with important issues in their community 4. Give to participants basic knowledge about organizing and promoting cultural events 5. Encourage youth to talk about social problems through a new and interesting approach 6. Raising awareness about social inequality inside Europe

Participant profile:
Participants on the exchange will be young people between 18 and 30 years old, coming from 6 different countries: Croatia, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Spain and Germany. Every country will be represented with 6 participants and 1 group leader that should be 18+ with a stable link to the sending organization and an active role in it, preferably a youth worker or at least an experienced member. Participants should have at least basic knowledge of the working language in English, and a great willingness to be a part of a multi-cultural group. All partners should do their best to create gender balanced teams (4+3 including group leaders)
Every team should consist of participants with these profiles: 2 musicians and/or singers 2 poets, writing any type of poetry 1 person doing fine art (drawing, painting, sculpturing etc.) 1 person interested in photography or video making 1 group leader that can join any of the groups
The profile of participants is very specific. The participants don’t need to be professionals but they need to be very interested and have at least basic knowledge and experience in the field that they are applying for. During the exchange, we will have two main events in which musicians and poets are going to perform live while fine artists and photographers/video makers will have exhibition of what they were creating during the exchange.

After the selection of all participants, we will send you the preparation pack in which you will have more info about the venue, workshops, your tasks and Germany.
The venue :
We will be accommodated in a youth center/group house in Osterholz- Scharmbeck, close to the city of Bremen, Germany. The accommodation will be simple. Participants will be sharing rooms with 4-6 people from same gender but different nationalities. Some of the rooms are with private and some with shared bathrooms.

Travel to Germany and other important info:
It is not allowed to come to the venue of the exchange one day later or to leave one day before the designated dates. We can only reimburse tickets that are on/before 28th of October and on/after 07th of November 2019.
Travel costs per participants are: Greece = 360 € Croatia, Italy, North Macedonia, Spain = 275 € Germany = 20 €
In the attachment we are sending you document in which all the rules regarding the travel to our projects are explained in details (first page of the document). Please read it carefully and contact us in case you will have any question.
We are also sending in the attachment Confirmation of Participation. Read this document and apply only if you agree to everything written in it. On the first day of the exchange, every participant will need to sign this document.
