DAY 1: USA | FRANCE (Tuesday)
• Fly overnight to Paris.
Day 2: PARIS (Wednesday)
• Bienvenue à Paris! Upon arrival, your Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the airport and remain with you throughout your stay in France. • Transfer by private bus to your hotel and drop off your bags. • While in Paris, you will travel as Parisians do, by metro. • Have a stroll down the most famous avenue of the capital with its spectacular view, the Champs-Elysées. See the Arc de Triomphe. • Head to the highest point in the city, Montmartre (known locally as La Butte). Climb the steps to reach the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre’s hilltop church and most famous landmark. • Enjoy dinner in a typical “Brasserie Parisienne”. • Night accommodation in Paris.
DAY 3: PARIS (Thursday)
• Today after breakfast, take a guided tour of the Musée du Louvre, the world's largest art museum, featuring Da Vinci's iconic Mona Lisa. • Explore the Île de la Cité and visit the Sainte-Chapelle, a Gothic masterpiece. This intimate royal chapel surrounds you in iridescent light and color formed by the awe-inspiring stained-glass windows. • After, enjoy a dinner cruise on a glass-topped Bateau Mouche! • Then, view the Eiffel Tower Light Show from below. • Night accommodation in Paris.
DAY 4: VERSAILLES (Friday)
• This morning after breakfast, follow your Forum Tour Manager and take the RER train to Versailles! • Discover the Château de Versailles; the extravagant Palace built for the Sun King. Walk in the footsteps of Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, and Presidents Jefferson and Wilson. • Later, explore the elegantly landscaped park on bikes! • Return to Paris later in the afternoon. • Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. • Night accommodation in Paris
DAY 5: PARIS | LYON (Saturday)
• This morning after breakfast, transfer to the train station and board your high-speed train to Lyon. • Transfer to your partner school on arrival. Start your exchange program. While living with a host family, you will discover that French is more than just a textbook language as you fully immerse into the daily life of your family and school community. You will attend school with your exchange partner, apply your language skills in real-life situations, and experience life as a true local.
DAY 6-11: EXCHANGE PROGRAM (Sunday- Friday)
• Monday through Friday, attend school with your exchange partners. • Activities and workshops may be organized at the school during your visit (to be confirmed with the French school). • On Saturday and Sunday, spend the weekend with your host family.
DAY 12: DEPART (Saturday)
• This morning after breakfast, transfer to Lyon airport for your flight home. A Forum Transfer guide will be waiting for you at the airport to assist you with the check-in.
