THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (HEDGE END, WEST END AND BOTLEY) (AMENDMENT NO.6) ORDER 2012
The Council of the Borough of Eastleigh (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with the Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby makes the following Order:-
Commencement and Citation
1. This Order shall come into operation on 23 February 2012 and may be cited as the “Borough of Eastleigh (Hedge End, West End and Botley) (Amendment No.6) Order 2012”.
Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting
2. In this Order the Principle Order means The Borough of Eastleigh (Hedge End, West End and Botley) Consolidation Order 2008
3. The Principal Order is hereby amended as follows:
(a) In the First Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) after item number 181 relating to St Johns Road there shall be inserted:
181A St Lawrence Close Both From the extended kerb line of its junction with Watkin Road in a Northern direction for a distance of 10 metres.
(a) In the First Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) after item number 198 relating to Sowden Close there shall be inserted:
198A. Stanier Way North West From the junction with Maunsell Way in a South western direction For a distance of 18 metres.
198B. Stanier Way South East From its junction with Maunsell Way in a south western direction for a distance of 16 metres.
(b) In the First Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) after item number 221 relating to Walker Gardens there shall be inserted:
221C Watkin Road North From the extended kerb line of its junction with Maunsell Way in a North Eastern direction for a distance 14 metres.
221D Watkin Road South From the extended kerb line of its junction with Maunsell Way in a North Eastern direction for a distance of 14 metres.
221E Watkin Road North From the extended Western kerb line of St Lawrence Close in a South Western direction for a distance of 10 metres.
221F Watkin Road North From the extended Eastern kerb line of St East Lawrence Close in a South Eastern direction for a distance of 10 metres.
221G Watkin Road South From a point opposite a point 10 metres South West of the junction of St Lawrence Close in a North Eastern direction following the kerb line for a distance of 25 metres.
