Application Guidelines for Enable® 2F in Pecan Disease Control Protecting the pecan nut early and fo llowing a well-timed spray schedule can help reduce damage caused by scab, downy spot and powdery mildew. • Apply at a use rate of 8 fl. oz./A • Begin applications at bud break and continue at 10- to 14-day intervals through pollination • Apply at 14- to 21-day intervals through cover sprays • Best control is achieved on a protectant application schedule using thorough coverage • Apply before shuck split and no later than 28 days before harvest • Do not apply more than 1.5 quarts per acre per season Fungicide Resistance Management Guidelines in Pecans Preventing and managing disease resistance to fungicides is vital for maintaining the longevity of these products in pecans. Using fungicides in ways that will inhibit the growth of resistant populations is a key resistance management strategy.
