Vs Mangere United
Vs Mangere United LOTTO NRFL Division 1 28 June 2.45pm Manurewa AFC Club Rooms P.O. Box 75 122 War Memorial Park Manurewa Gibbs Rd Auckland Manurewa Phone: (09) 267 1120 Welcome to Mangere United to the second round of the NRFL first and reserves. This is second of four home games. Over these weeks of home fixtures it is time to get in behind both sides with the support they need to cross the line and turn the tables around. Don’t give up. Last week’s game was a goody and playing like that is what’s needed week in and out. As the season moves on think back as to whose helping, organising, doing that bit extra, managing, in all areas of the club so their names can be put forward to the different committees for possible end of year awards. I mentioned a couple last week. You should all by now have your raffle tickets yes even I got a book. Put in the effort - I have 5 left easy to sell with the great prizes. To all members a reminder that the club draw is at 6pm and while you wait with a drink or two or something from the cafe, sit and discuss the what could have been or now to make it better for all those involved with the game. See you on the side line at the park. Kerry Bevan President WE NEED YOUR HELP Pablo Yackson is a crucial member of our first team and has recently shifted to New Zealand from South America. -
North Shore United Coachingmanager@Nsu .Org.Nz Has a Proud History of Doing Well in 021 0228 3770 the Chatham Cup
We Are North Shore SATURDAY 13th MAY 2017 – KICK OFF 2PM CHATHAM CUP – RD1 OFFICIAL MATCH DAY PROGRAMME OPPOSITION: METRO FC HEAD COACH– Tom Speers Good afternoon and welcome back to the the Hill for the 1st round of the Chatham Cup. I would like to welcome Mike and his Metro team here today, I expect it to be a lot tighter game than when they visited in the first game of season and I'm sure they will be looking to do a lot better than the 7-0 they experienced here that day. I love being part of the Cup and as there is only one cup competition in NZ I'm looking forward to hopefully going far. This club has a rich history in this cup, winning it 6 times, the last being in 1986, so fingers crossed we can progress into the later rounds of the competition and be there or there about towards the end. You can see the success we have had in this competition all over the clubhouse walls and talking with former players who have won it, we know how important it is to the club that we represent the club properly, so unlike the rumours I have been hearing, we will be playing a full strength squad and hoping every club in this competition do the same, resting players when you only have 1 game a week would be disrespectful to the longest cup competition on the planet and also be quite embarrassing for the clubs that do so. I hope you have a good day and hopefully see us progress, get behind the boys and make some noise. -

While most normal people are pigging out on Easter eggs and hot cross buns the football fraternity will be slogging it 2011 out on fi elds up and down the country. I’m sure there’s a good reason why we do it... Management Our start to the season has been solid enough. A close Committee loss at Manurewa was followed by a home victory over Onehunga Mangere that was a little more exciting than it Patron needed to be. Last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Takapuna was Jack Poole a real battle. It took us until mid-June to get our fi rst point in Auckland last season, so it was great to get that little President monkey off the back nice and early this time around. Dwayne Barlow This weekend we play host to two of the favourites Vice-President for the 2011 NRFL division 1 title. This will be a proper Peter Challis examination of where we stand and a good indicator of our prospects for the season. Treasurer Birkenhead United visit us on Saturday and come with Dave Mann the reputation of being a young and exciting footballing Secretary team. -

5/17 Takapuna AFC Welcomes Papakura City Lotto NRFL Div 2 6 May 2017 Club History Sponsors Welcome/President’s Report On behalf of the Takapuna Committee welcome to Taharoto Park for round nine of the NRFL division two season. I would like to extend a warm welcome to the management team, players and supporters from Papakura City. The last time the two teams met was during the 2015 season in the Chatham Cup draw played at McLennan with the home team winning convincingly 5 – 0. Please enjoy today’s game and I sincerely hope that you will experience the hospitality on offer during the day and then join with members from both clubs in the clubhouse after the game for the post match player awards and socially relax in the excellent facilities we have to offer Wayne Hallford President 1st Team Report View from the Dugout I would like to start by welcoming Papakura's coaching staff Jill and Mike, players and fans to Taharoto park for this NRFL fixture. The 5-1 loss at Mangere Utd last week was not a great performance from us and what was most disappointing apart from the result, was the way the goals were coincided. -

PULLING A SWIFT ONE Offi cial Matamata AFC match day programme MMatamataatamata SwiftsSwifts v OOnehunganehunga MangereMangere UnitedUnited NNRFLRFL DDivisionivision 1 Saturday April 9, 2011 Matamata Domain, Matamata Kick-off 2.45pm A Few Kind Words Welcome everyone to our fi rst home game at the start of another football season. After last season’s stirling efforts we fi nd ourselves in Northern Region Football League (NRFL) division 1, which is not bad considering it meant 2011 we achieved two promotions in the course of a season to get here. Now our task is to stay here. Management We started with a good performance last week at Committee Manurewa. While we didn’t get a result it was good to see the new faces settle in well and a couple of youngsters Patron make the most of their chance in the side. We now have Jack Poole to do it again this week and also look to get those fi rst three points on the board. President Welcome to Fabio and his Onehunga Mangere team. We Dwayne Barlow know very little about you guys and, judging by the team Vice-President sheet, it appears you’ve had quite a turnover of players Peter Challis during the off-season. Our two clubs have played each other four times in the Northern League, with the best Treasurer match being played at the Domain in 1998. We led 1-0 Dave Mann at the break then a crazy 2nd half saw eight goals go in, Secretary giving us a 6-3 victory. Let’s hope we see plenty of goals Julie Clothier today as well. -

I would like to extend a warm welcome to Mark Holt his management team, players and supporters from Papatoetoe AFC. The season is now at a critical stage that the lads need to win the final four games to achieve what they set out to do at the beginning of the season. A disappointing few weeks has seen us drop points at home and at the two away games. So today we need to get back the winning feeling. I look forward to seeing an improved performance on the field from both Taka teams today. With the last game of the season scheduled for Saturday 27th August away to North Force the two teams will be traveling by luxury coach. There are limited seats for our supporters ( approximately 10) if you are planning to travel and give the team your support can you please advise Wayne Hallford (Grumpy) as soon as possible.
