Principal Sponsor SteelPipe Saturday 5th May Official Match Day Programme Kick Off 3 PM Versus Eastern Suburbs AFC President's Welcome On behalf of Onehunga Sports Football Club, I would like to welcome Eastern Suburbs and their supporters to Waikaraka Park. I am sure there will be some familiar faces in their team and amongst their supporters, who will know this ground very well. Last weekend saw another delayed start to a game, with flooding affecting the pitch at the Croation Club and the game being switched to Crum Park. With two goals from Sean Lovemore, the team overcame a strong Central United 2-1, to maintain the second spot in the League, just ahead of Glenfield on goal difference. This week we welcome back two players from Auckland City, Te Atawhai Hudson-Wihonga and Harshae Raniga, which will add depth to the Premier's squad. It was great to see our junior football start last Saturday and the Park being busy from 8.30am. Thank you to all our volunteers, to those of you who devote your time as coaches and managers or help in setting up for games at the weekend. Please enjoy the game and don't forget that the bar and kitchen are open during and after the game. Thank you. Box 75 122 War Memorial Park Manurewa Gibbs Rd Auckland Manurewa Phone: (09) 267 1120 www.manurewaafc.org.nz Welcome to the first home game of the season at Memorial Park. The top two sides started last week with a loss to Bay Olympic for our Premier side—they now know what's needed. Well done to the Reserves for their first win. This week we welcome Birkenhead's two top sides and look forward to hosting them at the park today. Today we see the changes our club administration has been working on with the return to the club of our small whites who have been based at Pullman Park Papakura for the last few years as part of the whole of football plan. To Kieran and Todd thanks for your efforts in making this happen. It's now the clubs responsibility to make it work. On the other side we start the season with a club breakfast which is quite fitting as we welcome on board the Wiri Licencing Trust as the clubs first team sponsor for the 2017 season. Although they are long time supporters of the club, it is great to see them become sponsors again. We look forward to a long term arrangement which benefits both The Trust, Club and the community. Today with our Premier and Reserve team players here please take the time to have a chat and get to know them. Also coaches introduce them to your team members.

Box 75 122 War Memorial Park Manurewa Gibbs Rd Auckland Manurewa Phone: (09) 267 1120 Welcome to Western Springs who sit in second spot for Northern League Division one. Last Sundays result wasn’t what we wanted but I have to say that the signs are there and with some accurate shooting and passing the result could have been a lot different. To both sides keep the effort up and I look forward to the start of the second round. I am positive we will start to see the results we as members, coaches and players want. A reminder that it is the second round of the Chatham Cup against Hibiscus Coast away on Monday 2nd June at 2pm. So folks think about the trip up again and hopefully a change in results. Sorry to see the Division Six side disbanded but to those who gave it a go well done. Hopefully something to work on for next year. I’m looking forward to seeing a game at home this week after being away for awhile. Sometimes work gets in the road of sport. Good luck to all sides, enjoy your sport. Vs Hibiscus Coast LOTTO NRFL Division 1 19 July 2014 2.45pm Manurewa AFC Club Rooms P.O. Box 75 122 War Memorial Park Manurewa Gibbs Rd Auckland Manurewa Phone: (09) 267 1120 Welcome to Hibiscus Coast first team and Reserves to Memorial Park Manurewa. It has now been two weeks without a game and with the current weather patterns we could still be playing at Labour weekend. To all teams thank you for helping out and making life a little easier by holding back on training and keeping off the fields. For the youth and juniors having school holidays could not have been better. To the top side this well be your third game against Hibiscus Coast this season so this will be a good gauge as to where we will sit as the season progresses. Also at home today at the same time is our over 30’s and 35’s so plenty happening at the park today. With all teams assigned their raffle tickets please make the effort to sell them. The prizes are great and this is the icing on the cake which enables us to keep the club running. As you can see some property maintenance and decorating isn’t far away again. We are still working with council on ground plans and building ownership. It will take time but with Jellicoe Park to go ahead off season the team is making small inroads. Thanks to ball girls and boys. See you at the game Kerry Bevan President Photos supplied by Phototek Reserve Coaches Comments Its been a frustrating couple of weeks for the reserve side with games postponed due to the inclement weather we have been having.

That’s the only female match scheduled for Sunday due to the weekend earlier being set aside for the ASB Women’s Knockout Cup and it’s a fitting encounter to take centre stage. Glenfield are one of four sides in the hunt for the title and a win would put them top on goal difference. In the men’s Premier League, Eastern Suburbs can take another step towards the title with a victory over Birkenhead United while North Shore United’s hosting of Ellerslie is the highlight of Division One. The game of greatest consequence in Division Two is the southern derby between Papatoetoe and Papakura City, who both need the points for contrasting reasons – Papatoetoe to boost their fight against relegation and Papakura to strengthen their title charge.

To tie in with this historic milestone, the Lotto NRFL will have a new look and feel with the introduction of a logo and further branding, including social media and this weekly programme, for one of the country’s leading club-based competitions. The elements used within the logo refer to various features of the different regions. The wavy lines represent the wide expanses of water that surround Northland, Auckland and the Waikato, including the Waikato River, while the mountains evoke the Waitakere Ranges, Bombay Hills and Kamai Ranges, as well as the numerous volcanoes that are scattered throughout the area.
