What is TLS? Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol is a successor to Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, or SSL. TLS provides secure communications on the Internet.

Internet Explorer (IE) Notes Moorepayhr is supported on IE9 and above. Depending on which Windows Operating System that you are using, you may find that TLS 1.2 is disabled (by default) within the browser, and you or your IT department will need to enable it.

How can I enable TLS 1.2 encryption within Internet Explorer? Follow the steps below (example is for Internet Explorer 11). If you are unable or restricted from making this change please speak to your IT department.
1. Launch Internet Explorer and then access ‘Internet Options’ via Tools in the top right hand corner of the screen 2. Navigate to the ‘Advanced’ tab, scroll down until you see ‘Use TLS 1.2’. Ensure that this option is ticked. Click ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ to save your change

What will I see if TLS 1.2 is NOT enabled for me after the change? After we complete the security upgrade, if your browser is not configured to use TLS 1.2 then on navigating to the Moorepayhr website (https://www.login.moorepay.co.uk/moorepay) you will see a message similar to the following:
This page can’t be displayed
Make sure TLS and SSL protocols are enabled. Go to Tools -
Internet Options - Advanced Settings - Security
Or
Turn on TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to
https://www.login.moorepay.co.uk again.
