Further inspection to motorway bridge over Network Rail track on behalf of the Enterprise Mouchel, involving track access. Visual inspections and hammer testing to assess concrete status. Consideration of potential causes for how the structures have gained such condition. Production of reports and drawings, with photographs to visually inform of the conditions found. Volkerlaser – Site Manager on subway infill to an underpass in London. Volkerlaser – Site Manager on nightshift to an embankment stabilisation alongside the M42. Lane closures to the motorway. Removal of existing ground and reinstating with stone fill. Installation of land drainage. Working in co- operation with the traffic management team at closing the motorway down to one lane. Monitoring the safety of the tunnels with relation to the potential hazard that the public could cause, and members of the public driving on the highway following satnav instructions and wanting to enter the tunnels. Inspections during and after the work assignments, and especially so that the tunnel has the standard to allow them to have the traffic management removed and open the tunnels to the public for use. Airfield and airport projects of resurfacing runways and taxiways. Civil engineering of ducting and sign bases, and approach lighting. Road improvement projects. Being the main contractor and or sub-contractor with works to airfields. Carrying out engineering processes and assessments to be several steps ahead of the processes to gain flow of the works. Attending briefings with the main contractors where applicable, with other contractors carrying out the works to airports and runways for co-ordination of where contractors will be, and of the relation to make each shift very achievable. Consulting with RAF and Army senior officers on military establishments for their assistance on knowledge of their assets. Informing them of daily operations with specific identification of the persons at specific locations and their airfield radio call signs. Being assigned as the main contact to the RAF and Army, and the priority contact to inform air traffic control of operations. Briefing crews on the routing onto airfields, and any potential hazard.
