Retail Outlet – General Information, Pricing & Order Guide 2014 Growing Season Italian Garden Seeds “GROW WITH TRADITION” 1 Franchi Sementi, is Italy’s oldest seed company, since 1783. Franchi specializes in heirloom vegetables and herbs that have been passed down through generations because of their great flavor. Franchi seeds are packaged in large, hermetically sealed packets with full-color photos on the front and growing instructions in multiple languages, including English, on the back. Seed counts are extremely generous. You’ve never seen seed packets like these, and when you get a rack full of them, they stop traffic!. Besides their appeal to vegetable gardeners, they offer many other marketing opportunities. They make thoughtful, unique gifts alone or paired with related products. Sell them with cookbooks or gardening books; use them in gift baskets with gardening tools, cooking gadgets, or Italian food products. In our experience, these seeds are extremely popular and profitable in large urban and suburban Garden Centers, markets and gift shops where customers are interested in cooking and eating well. 2 Based on experience with what sells best, we offer preselected packages in sizes to fit every outlet. We have chosen varieties based on best sellers. Italian Garden Seeds can offer a variety of rack options with the largest being a black powder-coated metal grid wall design with feet. A $50.00 deposit is required for each grid wall rack and or 72 pocket Spinner floor rack. If you order a second year, the $50.00 deposit then becomes a credit towards your next purchase of seeds. If you decide not to reorder, you can return the rack for a $50.00 refund. Please note “all” racks remain the property of Italian Garden Seeds. Please see Rack Options below for additional options and prices. Italian Garden Seeds offers the black grid wall rack in 5 and 6 foot sizes and are available in single and double sided. We also can offer spinner racks in 12, 16, 24 packet countertop model and a 24 and 72 packet model for saving retail floor space. All racks come with a colorful header card. • Small rack includes a 5-foot grid wall; single sided and with 240 seed packs. • Double small rack is the same rack with 480 seed packs to stock both front and back. • Large rack includes a 6-foot grid wall; single sided with 305 seed packs. • Double large rack is the same rack with 610 seed packs to stock both front and back. • Spinner Racks -12 spaces each with 5 packets of 12 varieties = 60 packets -16 spaces each with 5 packets of 16 varieties = 80 packets -24 spaces each with 5 packets of 24 varieties = 120 packets -72 spaces each with 5 packets of 72 varieties = 360 packets If you prefer, you can select varieties yourself from our selection of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
