He is famous for turning into success every story produced by him. Pasión de gavilanes; La tormenta; Sin senos no hay paraíso and Doña Bárbara are some of the titles that this electronic engineer of profession and passionate musician has produced. He’s worked in TV for 28 years and, as vice-president of production and executive producer of RTI, has realized a great variety of telenovelas – more then forty – all of them with one thing in common: successful.

After seven years of university, he started working at a TV station, INRAVISION, where we stayed for another seven years maintaining equipment. “Fixing a camera I realized I didn’t like what I was doing, I was getting bored. It was then when investigating I discovered the exciting world of production”, recalls Ferrer.
In 1988, Patricio Wills offered him to work at RTI. “He didn’t have to make a big effort to convince me; I think that it’s the company that best takes care of the product and, for me, it was a privilege to be there. I signed the contract on a napkin while we were having lunch”. That’s how they started to make telenovelas.
The experienced producer says “in the last decade I integrate TV achievements to the confirmation of our production culture, so we can adapt ourselves and understand the modern TV that the world wants to see. When finding the way to what Latin audiences in the USA like, we find the way to compete in every channel in Latin America and Europe.
