Il 1 modello su strada con la nuova denominazione fu la Alfa Romeo 20-30 HP. Gli anni 1920 – 1930, sono caratterizzati da una permanente crisi di liquidità con l'ing. VITTORIO JANO, alla guida tecnica l'Alfa Romeo iniziò un periodo di successi sportivi e di avanzamenti tecnologici che riportarono l'azienda al totale rilancio internazionale, però la situazione finanziaria non migliorava; tanto che si pensava ad una totale chiusura. Intervenne il governo MUSSOLINI che decise mediante l'IRI di rilanciare l'Alfa individuando in UGO GOBBATO l'uomo del totale riordino della fabbrica. Il lavoro del tandem JANO-GOBBATO porterà al risanamento e alla produzione di nuovi modelli con linee potenti ed eleganti che riportarono l'Alfa a livelli mondiali sia per eleganza che per tecnologia meccanica. -

Dezember 1970 (aus: Zeitmagazin 03/1979, S. 4., Foto: AP-Archiv1) "Ich hatte nichts geplant"2, schreibt Brandt später in seinen Erinnerungen zu dem im Foto gezeigten Moment. Er habe das Gefühl gehabt, "die Besonderheit des Gedenkens am Ghetto-Monument zum Ausdruck bringen zu müssen." Das Foto steht im folgenden Entstehungszusammenhang: Anlässlich der Unterzeichnung der Warschauer Verträge besuchte Willy Brandt das Mahnmal für die Opfer des Aufstandes im Warschauer Ghetto. Vor dem expressionistischen Bronzedenkmal legte er einen Kranz nieder und sank dann während er zurücktrat in die Knie. Im November 1940 hatten die Nazis das Warschauer Ghetto eingerichtet und auf engstem Raum 500.000 jüdische Menschen zusammengepfercht. Ab 1942 wurden die Ghettobewohner in das Vernichtungslager Treblinka abtransportiert. Zu Ostern 1943 begann der Kampf der jüdischen Widerstandgruppen. Kaum einer der Aufständischen überlebte. Das Ghetto wurde niedergebrannt. Zu seiner Geste des Kniefalls im Gedenken an die Ermordeten des Warschauer Ghettos und ihren verzweifelten Kampf gegen eine gut ausgerüstete Übermacht sagte er später: "Am Abgrund der deutschen Geschichte und unter der Last der Millionen Ermordeten tat ich, was Menschen tun, wenn die Sprache versagt.“3 Jürgen Stroop (* 26. September 1895 in Detmold als Josef Stroop; † 6. März 1952 in Warschau) war SS- Gruppenführer und Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS und Polizei. Nach Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde er durch ein polnisches Gericht zum Tode verurteilt.
