The various options to Bern are: From Zurich Airport : Direct train to Bern (travel time approx. 1h 25min) TRANSPORTATION From Geneva Airport : Direct train to Bern (travel time approx. 2h) to BERN Single ticket from either airport costs: 1 st Class: CHF 97 (approx. € 89) ; 2 nd Class: CHF 55 (approx. € 50) From Bern Airport: A bus connects the Airport to Belp train station, where one can take a train to Bern (cost around CHF 7). Travelling time approximately 40 min. The trip with taxi from Bern Airport to Bern Railway Station costs around CHF 50 (approx. € 46) (Tel: Taxi Nova: +41 31 331 33 13; Taxi Bären: +41 31 371 11 11). REGISTRATION At the venue, Bern, 08:15 a.m. A welcome reception and dinner will take place on Sunday 26 March at the Restaurant “Kornhauskeller ” as of 6pm. The restaurant is conveniently located right at the city centre of Bern. All other expenses are to be borne by the participants. ACCOMMODATION An Annex on “Hotel Accommodation” was provided to the participants together with the invitation email. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements with regard to valid travel documents such as valid passports, visas, etc. Upon request, visa support letters may be issued. After registration, Arab Coordination Group members VISA may approach Ms. Rania Kirreh ([email protected] ) in this regard. For information on obtaining a visa to enter Switzerland, please consult https://www.ch.ch/en/entering- switzerland-visa/ It is the responsibility of each participant to have adequate travel and health insurance for the whole INSURANCE duration of his/her trip. The organizers are unable to take responsibility for any such expenses incurred during his/her stay in Switzerland. Internet access is available free of charge at the conference venue. The access code will be communicated INTERNET ACCESS to you upon registration on site. Please note that Switzerland has different electrical plugs than used in other ELECTRICITY countries (220VAC/50Hz). Most maJor international currencies can be exchanged at banks, at all airports and in hotels in CURRENCY Switzerland. Rates of exchange might vary slightly from one institution to another.
