The main output of the work is a graphical representation of scheduled flights operated from the territory of the Slovak Republic. The work includes an overview of airlines, destinations, attractions, and other useful information that has come up with this work. Keywords: Airport; segmentation; scheduled flights 1. INTRODUCTION The main aim of this article is to point out the coverage of the air transport market from the territory of the Slovak Republic. Initial information was processed for three International airports and their regular flights to different parts of the world. We chose M.R. Stefanik in Bratislava, Kosice International Airport and Poprad - Tatry Airport. In practical part the authors collected all regular flights from the airports and processed them in table form. All these lines were needed to develop a comprehensive graphical model which is also the main output. The graphical model clearly shows where it can be reached from the territory of the Slovak Republic by a direct route. All data is current for the 2018/2019 Winter Timetable with all the current changes, whether in terms of line cancellation or adding new carriers to new destinations.

    Bratislava Airport (BTS) There are direct flights to a number of destinations in Europe and a number of airlines operate their direct routes to Bratislava – RYANAIR, Pobeda, flydubai, Czech Airlines, Wizz Air. Bratislava airport can be reached from the city centre in 15–20 minutes. To get to the city center you can take a taxi – do not forget to ask about the price in advance or use HOPIN mobile app. Terminal Bratislava Airport terminal consists of the main terminal building (A) and terminal B designated to serve the non-Schengen arrivals and departures. Ground floor The ground floor includes the public departures area with passenger handling services – check-ins and the arrival hall. The first floor is dedicated to administrative spaces. The ground floor serves also arriving passengers from the non-Schengen countries in terminal B. 2nd floor The direct way to the Departures area is by escalators from the ground floor to the second floor, where passengers pass through security control and into the dedicated security area. This is where the shopping and relaxation zone and the departure gates (number 1-8) are located. After passing through the passport control there are gates number 9 -13 located. We have held our own very well against our competitors and have been able to capi- talise flexibly on market conditions. This has in turn enabled us to expand on our strong position in Europe. The return of Russian holidaymakers to Turkey was good news for our business and compensated for the reduction in travel from Western Europe. In the cruise sector, we now operate globally from our base in Miami. We are also pleased with our development in the Asia-Pacific region. We are continually expanding our business in Malaysia and Sydney and now have an additional presence at Hong Kong International Airport. Our new joint venture at Tel Aviv Airport, which began operations on 1 Janu- ary 2018, has been another source of pride for us. Duty Free has an excellent position in Israel. Further to that, all of our departments are currently focusing on their preparations for the planned opening of the new airport in Istanbul at the end of this year. Our staff here at Gebr.
