In March 2012, Chef Ponsaty was inducted into the prestigious Maîtres Cuisiniers de France. He is currently one of only two chefs in San Diego who holds the prestigious title of French Master Chef. After helming 1500 OCEAN, Hotel del Coronado’s fine dining restaurant, his role was elevated to an executive position, allowing the Master Chef’s creativity and skill to touch all aspects of dining at The Del.
