In this research, Iranian species of 20 sections of the genus Silene L. have been anatomically studied for the first time. Some of the most important anatomical characters of leaf in this genus are listed here: general shape of leaves in transverse section, type of stomata cells, form of trichome, type of mesophyll (dorsiventral or isobilateral), presence or absence and type of collenchyma, thickness of sclerenchyma, existence or lack of water-storage, shape of vascular bundles, number of parenchyma layers in midrib, form and number of spongy and palisade parenchyma, presence or absence of parenchyma bundle sheath, number of vascular bundles in midrib. Based on our results we are able to identify and classify sections of this genus (tables 2, 3). In addition, we selected the most important characters related to midrib and lamina. All of these results confirm anatomical characters have taxonomic value for separating sections in the genus Silene. Since then, a third edition (Stace, 2010) has been issued containing numerous taxonomic and nomenclatural changes as well as additions and exclusions to taxa listed in the second edition. Consequently, although the objective of this revised guide hast altered and much of the original text has been retained with only minor amendments, many new taxa have been included and there have been substantial alterations to the references listed. Acacia greggii 3€/20seeds. Small deciduous tree with small leaves that gets covered with yellow flowers in late spring. Acacia karoo 4€/20seeds. Slow in the beginning but as soon as it anchors itself onto the ground it creates an umbrella like tree with sweet scented late spring flowers and most importantly 10cm white spines that will protect it from giraffes (if you have them!) and are very ornamental nevertheless. Acacia mearnsii 4€/20seeds. A nice medium sized tree with ferny foliage and pic panicles of soft lemon flowerheads in late spring. Don’t plant in areas where there is a danger of becoming invasive. Aechmea recurvata ´Big Mama´ 3€/20seeds. One of the best (and biggest) recurvata selections that colors up in pinks and oranges when in flower and then goes back to green when in fruit. Aethionema grandiflorum 3€/20seeds. Tough and long lived Aethionema that takes summer drought excellent. Gets covered in pink in spring. Alyssoides utriculata 3.30€/20seeds. Perfectly suited to screes and rocky soils on a big rock garden or equally at home at a Mediterranean drought tolerant border with good air circulation, this useful shrublet has both vibrant yellow flowers and peculiar round seedpods in short stems above the leaves. -

Once on the intercity express, we settled down to a comfortable journey, through the Swiss countryside, towards the Alps. We passed Lake Zurich and the Walensee, meeting the Rhine as it flows into Liectenstein, and then changed to the UNESCO World Heritage Albula railway at Chur. Dramatic scenery and many loops, tunnels and bridges followed, as we made our way through the Alps. After passing through the long Preda tunnel, we entered a sunny Engadine and made a third change, at Samedan, for the short ride to Pontresina. We transferred to the hotel by minibus and met the remaining two members of our group, before enjoying a lovely evening meal. After a brief talk about the plans for the week, we retired to bed. Day 2 Monday 9th July After a 20-minute walk from the hotel, we caught the 9.06am train at Surovas. We had a scenic introduction to the geography of the region, as we travelled south along the length of Val Bernina, crossing the watershed beside Lago Bianco and alighting at Alp Grum. -

Im Jahr 1999 ist die Gemeinde Hopfgarten im Defereggen und im Jahre 2000 die Gemeinde St. Veit im Defereggen dem Abwasserverband Hohe Tauern Süd beigetreten. Alle in den Verbandsgemeinden anfallenden Abwässer werden der Kläranlage Huben zugeleitet. Abwasserentsorgung in Tirol 2002 Land Tirol – Siedlungswasserwirtschaft Abwasserverband 159 Hohe Tauern Süd Ausbaugröße: 37.000 EW60 Organische Schmutzfracht: 2.220 kg BSB5/d Abwassermenge bei Trockenwetter: 7.400 m3/d Die Kläranlage ist als einstufige Belebtschlammanlage für 37.000 EW60 konzipiert und besteht aus Rechen, Sand-/Fettfang, Vorklärbecken, Belebungsbecken, Nachklärbecken und ist zur Nitrifikation, Denitrifikation und Posphorelimination ausgelegt. Das gereinigte Abwasser wird in die Isel eingeleitet. Der abgezogene Schlamm wird in einem Faulturm anaerob stabilisiert und wird anschließend mittels einer Kammerfilterpresse konditioniert.
