The studied pine stands grow on the handmade mountains of the Kumertau brown coal mine, copper-pyrite deposits of the Sibay dept. of the Uchalinsky mining and processing plant and the Uchaly mining and processing plant. The content of copper, zinc, cadmium, manganese, cadmium, strontium, iron, nickel, chromium and lead was determined. Analyses were carried out on an ICP-MS (Plasma quad pq2-turbo plus, Usa) installation using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The content of heavy metals was determined in vegetative organs (needles), in shoots, in the bark and in the root system of pine.

  • Sergiy Kurbatov, Alla Marchenko Diversification of the "Late Soviet
ІДЕОЛОГІЯ І ПОЛІТИКА ИДЕОЛОГИЯ И ПОЛИТИКА IDEOLOGY AND POLITICS Sergiy Kurbatov, Alla Marchenko Diversification of The "Late Soviet": Attitudes to Mikhail Gorbachev in The Mirrors of History Textbooks Abstract. The article deals with representations of Mikhail Gorbachev, last leader of the USSR, in textbooks on the history of three Post-Soviet countries: Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. The personality of Gorbachev is seen in the wider framework of attitudes to the “late Soviet” and its embedding in three histories based on the official discourses. The results of historical textbook analysis show the ambiguity and diversification of these attitudes reflected in three “faces” of Gorbachev changing with the pace of perestroika. It is seen that negative attitudes to the personality of Gorbachev are connected to his representations within the framework of Machiavelist elite theories and general fight for power, with certain manifest or latent nostalgia for the Soviet past. The case of Ukraine is the most in contrast with a positive evaluation of Gorbachev’s personality and activities in comparison to Russia and Belarus. Key words: historical textbook analysis, “late Soviet” period, Post-Soviet representation, attitudes to Mikhail Gorbachev, comparative research. Introduction. Reflections upon the possibilities of creating and reframing the geopolitical configurations in the contemporary world always shed light on previous country unions and associations. A characteristic feature of the Post-Soviet past is a constant search for new political equilibriums which take into account both the closeness of non-Soviet neighbors and relationships with Russia as a main successor of the USSR (especially important for Ukraine and Belarus as two “younger sisters” of neighboring Russia).

RESEARCH PAPER COMMUNICATIONAL TIES BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN AND OTHER RUSSIAN REGIONS BASED ON VOICE CELL PHONE DATA Valeriy V. Yumaguzin1, Maria V. The article aims to present social ties of the Republic of Bashkortostan based on voice cell phone data, which covers 12 million calls from and to the region during the first five days of March 2020. About 96% of calls are made within the republic and only 4% of them are interregional. The people of the Republic of Bashkortostan have close connections with those who live in neighboring regions (Orenburg, Sverdlovsk oblast, the Republic of Tatarstan and especially Chelyabinsk oblast). Being a part of the Ural Economic Region, the Volga Federal District and Volga-Ural Macro Region, the republic has turned mostly towards Ural regions. We also found that the republic has close social ties with Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad oblast, as well as Krasnodar kray, Samara oblast and two Autonomous Districts: Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets. We estimated the number of persons who possessed Bashkir SIM-card and were outside the republic during the research period – 183 thousand; the most of them were in the abovementioned regions. While conversation between residents lasts 50 seconds, which is among the smallest values, the calls to and from republics of Altai, Tyva, Khakassia, Sakha and Magadan oblast are 5-8 times longer.

Mongush 1 1 Ph. D. in History (Cand. of Historical Sc.), Associate Professor, Department of Archives and Records Management, Tuvan State University (Kyzyl, Russian Federation). E-mail: [email protected] Abstract. The article deals with the period of primary education system development in Tuva. It is from the early 20th century, when the first Russian schools were founded, that the Tuvan people received the opportunity to obtain secular education for the first time ever. It is believed that despite the difficult socio-economic conditions, the school system of the Uriankhai Region had a stable growth due to public participation of Russian immigrants. The article studies some features of the history of the first educational institutions’ formation, in particular, the actual methods of interaction between government agencies and the society in the field of education that so far have remained understudied. The present work gives special consideration to the subject. The paper shows that the system of the first Russian schools was founded in a relatively short period of time (1908–1919), which subsequently became a reliable stepping stone for the general development of educational institutions in the territory of the Tuvan People’s Republic (1921–1944).
