Various specialty and pay television programming undertakings Across Canada
Administrative licence renewals
1. The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the various specialty and pay television programming undertakings set out in the appendices to this decision, from their current expiry dates (2007 in the case of each undertaking listed in Appendix 1 and 2008 in the case of each undertaking listed in Appendix 2) to 31 August 2009, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licences.
2. This decision will enable the Commission to consider the further renewal of these licences taking into account the determinations that result from its review, commencing in 2007, of the policy framework for discretionary programming services. This decision does not dispose of any substantive issue that may exist with respect to the renewal of these licences and interested parties will have an opportunity to comment at the appropriate time.
