Hello, everybody! Happy Autumn! Happy World Vegan Day! Happy World Vegan MONTH!

I know you are busy. I am writing to ask for your attention for just a moment.

You well know how essential it is that more people learn how to pursue a life and diet free of exploitation of the animals---

(59 billion land and sea animals are killed yearly for food in the US alone!) and of the planet---

(260 million acres of US forest and more than 90% of the Amazon rain-forest land that has been cleared since 1970 is used for meat production!)

Because all life is interconnected, transitioning to a vegan diet also has a powerfully positive impact on individual human health and world hunger problems.*

EVEN is a vegan education and outreach group focusing on compassion, non-violence and sustainability.

EVEN's mission has been to inform, educate and encourage persons to switch to, or at least move toward, a cruelty-free, plant-based (vegan) lifestyle that will reduce animal suffering, torture and slaughter, and environmental degradation.

EVEN has been serving as a vegan resource since 2005! We have grown enormously over the past 8-3/4 years because we work hard. We have expanded our outreach and vegan education and, after over 150 events, we are reaching more people in more places with more resources! EVEN has sent nutritional information, veg starter kits, recipes, answers to questions, magazines, books, dvds, and other relevant information to tens of thousands. However...

EVEN cannot sustain this level of continued growth without your help.

Although everything EVEN does is offered free to the public, it is not without expense.

So, as we approach EVEN's 9th anniversary, we are asking for your support.
