DCR Traffic and Parking Advisory: 2017 Head of the Charles Regatta

WHAT: Beginning Wednesday, October 18, 2017 and continuing through Sunday, October 22, 2017, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement various parking restrictions and lane and road closures along Soldiers Field Road in the City of and Memorial Drive in the City of Cambridge to accommodate the 2017 Head of the Charles Regatta. Detour signage will be clearly posted and police details will be on site.

WHERE: Soldiers Field Road in the City of Boston and Memorial Drive in the City of Cambridge

Memorial Drive: Riverside Boat Club, Magazine Pool driveway and MWRA Cottage Farm Pump Station lot, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 6:00PM to Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 8:00PM . # 940 Memorial Drive to Hawthorne Street (Memorial Drive to Mount Auburn Street), Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 8:00AM to Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 9:00PM . On ramp to North Harvard Street from Soldiers Field Road westbound (shuttle bus access only) . Soldiers Field Road westbound, right lane at lot #2, NO PARKING: DROP OFF/PICK UP ONLY, Saturday, October 21, 2017 and Sunday, October 22, 2017 6:00AM to 6:00PM
