Back to Top GPS directions Artesani Park does not have a street address, but if you put "Artesani Park, Allston, MA" in to your phone or GPS, it should give you directions. Please double-check that they match the directions above, however. Also note that many turn-by-turn GPS directions get confused by the circuitous Boston parkways you'll be using, so we suggest that you use GPS in addition to these directions, not instead of them. Once on the ramp, stay to the left where it forks. 3. Follow this ramp straight through the light on to Leo M Birmingham Parkway (unsigned). 4. After crossing the turnpike, take a left on to Guest Street under a building which spans across Guest Street. The garage will be on your right. Back to Top By Public Transportation • The nearest MBTA station is Harvard Square on the Red Line, about a 30 minute walk. Much of this walk can be made along the river paths (follow JFK Street to the river and cross, then take a right); we suggest that you use Google Maps walking directions. There are several taxi cab stands at Harvard; cab fare is about $10. • You can find MBTA schedules and information at www.mbta.com. You can search for transit directions via Google Maps. • Two MBTA bus lines serve Western Ave near Artesani Park from the Red Line. The 70 (towards Cedarwood via Watertown and Waltham) and 70A (towards N. Waltham via Watertown) run every ten minutes from Central Square Station, about a 15 minute trip. The 86 (towards Cleveland Circle) runs every 30 minutes to Harvard Square Station, about a 10 minute trip. Schedules are available at MBTA.com, or use Google Maps transit directions. • If you take the bus, get off at "367 Western Ave opposite Brighton Mills Mall." The buses have automated announcements for the stops. Walk in the direction of travel and take the first right on Telford Street to the pedestrian bridge to Artesani Park (about a 5 minute walk). • Do note that the transfers from subway to bus at Harvard and Central are not particularly well signed. • After the event, cross to the other side of Western Avenue and take either bus to get back to the Red Line at Harvard or Kendall (the best advice is probably to take whatever bus comes first).
