Airport Paving On Tuesday morning, September 26, over 100 emergency response personnel from 21 different agencies participated in a Cutting Edge simulated aircraft accident here on . This Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill is required to be held every 3 years EvCC - 50 Years as part of our compliance with Part 139 Certification. Participants included Paine Field Fire & Rescue, Everett, Mukilteo, and Monster Bash Fire Departments, and Fire Districts 1 & 4. Other primary and Understanding Airplanes secondary responders included: Everett and Mukilteo Police and State Patrol, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, the Side Heading County Medical Examiner's Office, the Department of Emergency Management, Public Affairs, The American Red Cross, several Wildlife Cannons local ambulance companies, and of course, Paine Field Operations, Maintenance, and Administration staff. Due to the Winter Reminders complexity and extensive coordination required between all responders, planning can take several months to ensure that the 2018 Closure drill is both realistic and beneficial to all. Airport Pavement Maintenance

It has been a busy and successful summer of pavement rehabilitation around the Airport. The Airport Maintenance Department personnel and the Snohomish County Roads Department have made substantial progress especially in the Central Hangar complex. The Taxiway Bravo and North Ramp Taxilane Project is now under construction. North Ramp Taxilane was closed for 17 days as Airport Lease & Purchase Opportunities construction crews quickly rebuild the taxilane and repaved. The North Ramp was open again for airplanes right on time, Sunday Sept 24.
