Period End of June-October From Jorasse, a pleasant path along the hillside leads hikers to La Depending on snowmelt Pierre à la Vatserou. The hike then gets tougher. From one tight bend to another, the trail rises to Plan Coppel, a peaceful plateau that lies in the bed of Ovronnaz's river, the Salentse.

The ascent continues and leads into the Cirque of Plan Salentse, the last plateau that is flanked by the Petit and Grand Muveran. It takes a Access by the little more courage, and a few more bends along the flank of the final slope, to be rewarded by reaching the pass and the Cabane Rambert. Parking of the chairlift Returning to the pass, the trail heads East and plunges down to Les Outannes, a great grassy slope with a scattering of scree. The path continues through the pastures of Chamosentse and Loutse. Stop at the snack bar for a refreshing break. The trail then takes you back to the resort at Tourbillon. Take the Petite Corniche to regain the Jorasse chairlift car park.

Eugène Rambert, a passionate mountaineer and naturalist from , was a founding member of the in 1863. He is famous for his five-volume series "Les Alpes suisses". The first hut was built in 1895 and was transported by train from Lausanne to Riddes, and from there to the Frête de Saille by mules, carts and men. In 1952, it was rebuilt at a safer and larger location (44 beds): La Crête à Moret. In 2015 it was refurbished and enlarged.
