RENT A KICK BIKE AT SUNNEGGA The extremely popular kickbikes can be hired at the Sunnegga-Rothorn valley station (helmet included). Visitors will be encouraged to learn about the 3S project and the advan- tages of the new lift facility, but also to get an impression of the chal- lenges facing construction engineers in the high-Alpine region. The ex- hibition starts with a brief historical review detailing the development of the Matterhorn glacier paradise. A number of screens provide visi- tors with further information about the new mountain and valley sta- tions and the progress of construction work. They also have the op- portunity to inspect the most important construction materials. The InfoCube is open all year round. All information is available in Englisch.

VISIT TO THE BLACK-FACED SHEEP ON STAFELALP Travel with the Matterhorn-Express from Zermatt to Schwarzsee from where you can hike to see the black-faced sheep. Over a glass of wine and some dried meats, you will be able to learn some fascinating facts about these woolly creatures. Later, if you wish, you can enjoy a fine lunch at Restaurant Stafelalp with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn’s north wall.
