Hills’ aim is to provide customers across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties with a complete one-stop waste management service. Central to that aim is the operation of six multi-faceted sites as shown below.

These waste management sites provide comprehensive recycling services, with specialist disposal facilities for inert, non-hazardous and hazardous wastes.

The standards demanded at each site are high, the aim being to minimise impact on the environment and on neighbours in local communities.

All six operating sites are certified to the international standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001.

PARKGATE FARM (PURTON)

The Hills waste management centre at Purton, near Swindon, of hazardous waste. Wastes handled include those from is a non-hazardous and hazardous landfill. It is also a waste contaminated sites that are being re-developed as a means collection and skip / container hire depot. The site is an of minimising the call on greenfield sites. The clay extracted important regional facility for composting and for the disposal to create landfill void space is itself a valuable mineral.

LOWER COMPTON (CALNE)
