STEFAN RAPPOLD, BDA PARTNER, BEHNISCH ARCHITEKTEN

Prior to pursuing , Stefan Rappold, born in 1966 in Stuttgart, completed an apprenticeship in carpentry. He then received his Diploma in architecture from the University of Stuttgart in 1995, and went on to work with several German practices prior to joining Behnisch. Stefan Rappold has been working with the Behnisch family for 15 years, working first under the leadership of Günter Behnisch at Behnisch & Partner, before joining the Stuttgart office of Behnisch Architekten in 2000. Serving as Project Partner, Stefan has been integral in the design and implementation of several, key international projects, including the recently completed Administrative Building for the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) of the United Nations in Geneva. In addition, Stefan served as Project Partner in the development of the Allston Science Complex for Harvard University. He currently directs the Stuttgart office of Behnisch Architekten in collaboration with Stefan Behnisch.
