The 2016 season was challenging for them as it is for all teams this age because it is their first season on a full size field playing 11 a-side. The boys coped admirably and adjusted to the change better than expected. The training schedule at SAE gets the players together 3 times a week with an optional 4th session for all 4 terms of the year. I thank the boys for the work that they are putting into being the best football players possible and hope their love for football continues. This was my first season as a coach at Drury United, so my goal for the season was mid-table. To my surprise, going into the last competition game, we still had a chance to finish first equal in the division. I am really happy with how the team has come together and jelled as a unit, also how their attitudes have changed this season towards each other and the game itself. I am looking forward to returning next season to coach this team again. I would like to thank all the parents and families for their positive support towards the team throughout the season. A big thanks to Stacey Pope for becoming a CBR this season and taking on referee duties whether home or away, leaving me to concentrate on coaching. Also a big thanks goes to the team manager Deanna Penney who has gone above and beyond this season making flash little posters with game day info and little write ups on the players of the days and all the day to day running of the team behind the scenes. - Adam Fenwick (Coach) Championship Round - 13/3 South P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Pukekohe AFC 13/3S Red 8 6 1 1 42 7 35 19 2 South Auckland Rangers 13/3S Bengals 8 6 1 1 33 15 18 19 3 Manukau City AFC 13/3S 8 5 3 0 32 7 25 18 4 Drury 13/3S Torpedoes 8 5 1 2 41 15 26 16 5 Manurewa AFC 13/3S Cougars 8 4 1 3 21 13 8 13 6 Fencibles 13/3S Green 8 2 1 5 10 25 -15 7 7 Waiuku 13/3S Tornados 8 2 0 6 16 45 -29 6 8 Papatoetoe United FC 13/3S Warriors 8 1 1 6 9 44 -35 4 9 Tuakau Soccer Club 13/3S Tuataras 8 0 1 7 9 42 -33 1 10 Bucklands Beach AFC 13/3S Uruguay 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Grading Round - 13/3 South P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Waiuku 13/2S Hurricanes 7 6 1 0 49 8 41 19 2 SAR 13/3S Panthers 7 6 1 0 42 8 34 19 3 Pukekohe AFC 13/2S Blue 7 5 0 2 38 9 29 15 4 Manukau City AFC 13/3S 7 4 0 3 25 12 13 12 5 Drury 13/3S Torpedoes 7 4 0 3 32 21 11 12 6 Pukekohe AFC 13/3S Red 7 4 0 3 19 18 1 12 7 Manurewa AFC 13/3S Cougars 7 3 0 4 17 23 -6 9 8 Papatoetoe United FC 13/3S 7 1 1 5 7 41 -34 4 9 Fencibles 13/3S Green 7 0 1 6 3 56 -53 1 10 Tuakau Soccer Club 13/3S Tuataras 7 0 0 7 2 38 -36 0 14th Phoenix - AFF Youth 13th Grade Division 1 Coach: Garrick McCarthy Ass. Lack of training through tumultuous weather and the coach suffering a career ending knee injury have taken its toll, but the fact is we could’ve won this league. We are technically the best team in the league and it is disappointing that a run of 4 draws has seen the top spot slip away from us. It is also frustrating to see the league won by Bucklands Beach who we beat convincingly in grading and then were dominant in a desperately unlucky 2-2 draw in the regular season. However, I am immensely proud and grateful for the opportunity to coach this team, they are all likeable young men with prosperous futures in football. I would like to thank the parents for all the dedication to get kids to training and games and for their support on the side-line. I would also like to thank the team’s manager Rochelle Gray for her tireless work as the team’s manager. - Garrick McCarthy (Coach) Championship Round - 14/1 P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Bucklands Beach AFC 14/1 Barracudas 9 7 1 1 20 8 12 22 2 Drury 14/1 Phoenix 9 5 4 0 18 9 9 19 3 Papatoetoe AFC 14/1 Lightning 9 5 2 2 18 9 9 17 4 Bay Olympic 14/1 Cannons 9 4 3 2 13 12 1 15 5 Eastern Suburbs AFC 14/1 White 9 3 3 3 13 11 2 12 6 Fencibles 14/1 9 3 3 3 8 7 1 12 7 Metro FC 14/1 Galaxy 9 3 1 5 15 16 -1 10 8 Three Kings Utd 14/1 Red 9 3 1 5 13 20 -7 10 9 Waiheke Utd AFC 14/1 Panthers 9 2 1 6 12 21 -9 7 10 Manurewa AFC 14/1 Bullets 9 0 1 8 5 22 -17 1 Grading Round - 14/1 P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Drury 14/1C Phoenix 7 5 1 1 17 7 10 16 2 Bucklands Beach AFC 14/1C Barracudas 7 5 0 2 13 9 4 15 3 Papatoetoe AFC 14/1C Lightning 7 4 2 1 15 6 9 14 4 Manurewa AFC 14/1C Bullets 7 4 0 3 13 14 -1 12 5 Fencibles 14/1C 7 3 0 4 12 8 4 9 6 SAR 14/1C Cheetahs 7 3 0 4 9 12 -3 9 7 Papatoetoe United FC 14/1C Dolphins 7 2 1 4 10 16 -6 7 8 Beachlands Maraetai 14/1C Coasters 7 0 0 7 3 20 -17 0 14th Wolverines - AFF Youth 14th Grade Girls Division 2 Coaches: Paul Cullum Manager: Natasha Bridgeman Team Members: Drew Bishop, Johanna Bogaard, Natalya Bridgeman, Jenna Casterton, Cailey Coles, Danielle Cutforth, Enya Fuhlendorff, Eilidh Groenestein, Olivia Groenestein, Aria Hoggart, Faith Leung, Portia McGuire, Paige O’Reilly, Melissa Redmond, Amy Scott, Shannyne Stephens Awards: Player of the Year Shannyne Stephens Sportsperson of the Year Portia McGuire Most Improved Player Paige O’Reilly Winner of the Youth Sportsperson Trophy – Paul Cullum Championship Round - Girls 14/2 P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Forrest Hill Milford G14/2 Footy Ferns 8 8 0 0 33 3 30 24 2 Pukekohe AFC G14/2 Razmatazz 8 6 0 2 30 11 19 18 3 Drury G14/2 Wolverines 8 5 0 3 22 12 10 15 4 Norwest G14/2 Hotshots 7 5 0 2 18 8 10 15 5 North Shore Utd G14/2 Japan 7 4 0 3 14 8 6 12 6 Western Springs G14/2 Lisbon Girls 7 3 0 4 17 14 3 9 7 West Auckland G14/2 Sapphires 7 1 1 5 6 22 -16 4 8 Eastern Suburbs AFC G14/2 Yellow 8 1 0 7 6 33 -27 3 9 Fencibles G14/2 8 0 1 7 2 37 -35 1 Grading Round - Girls 14/2 P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Waitemata FC G14/2 Mustangs 6 5 1 0 27 0 27 16 2 Papakura City FC G14/2 6 5 1 0 29 6 23 16 3 Pukekohe AFC G14/2 Razmatazz 7 3 4 0 18 7 11 13 4 Norwest G14/2 Hotshots 6 3 1 2 12 11 1 10 5 North Shore Utd G14PB Japan 3 2 1 0 6 0 6 7 6 Drury G14/2 Wolverines 6 1 4 1 11 9 2 7 7 Western Springs G14/2 Lisbon Girls 6 2 1 3 14 15 -1 7 8 Fencibles G14/2 7 1 1 5 5 24 -19 4 9 West Auckland G14/2 Sapphires 6 0 0 6 2 23 -21 0 10 Eastern Suburbs AFC G14/2 Yellow 5 0 0 5 4 33 -29 0 15th Cougars - AFF Youth Grade 15 Division 2 Coach: Michael Cox Manager: Julie Cumming Team Members: Nathaniel Brown, Sukhnit Bhullar, Jarrod Cambie, Christian Cox, Croydon Cumming, Ravi Deo, Alanu Gallichan, Shaun Griffin, Nicholas Land, Noah Moerua, Brittany Vatcheff-Bolton, Bhavjeet Walia, Rosie Wanoa Awards: Player of the Year Nicholas Land Sportsperson of the Year Nathaniel Brown Most Improved Player Rosie Wanoa Championship Round - 15/2 P W D L For Agst GD PTS 1 Bay Olympic 15/2 Dynamites 10 9 1 0 39 9 30 28 2 Three Kings Utd 15/2 Silver 10 8 0 2 27 15 12 24 3 Papatoetoe United FC 15/2 Outlaws 10 7 2 1 55 15 40 23 4 Ellerslie AFC 15/2 Gold 10 5 2 3 28 18 10 17 5 Pukekohe AFC 15/2 Green 10 5 2 3 20 12 8 17 6 Pukekohe AFC 15/2 Red 10 5 1 4 34 20 14 16 7 Clendon Utd AFC 15/2 Rangers 10 4 1 5 35 50

We Are North Shore SATURDAY 13th MAY 2017 – KICK OFF 2PM CHATHAM CUP – RD1 OFFICIAL MATCH DAY PROGRAMME OPPOSITION: METRO FC HEAD COACH– Tom Speers Good afternoon and welcome back to the the Hill for the 1st round of the Chatham Cup. I would like to welcome Mike and his Metro team here today, I expect it to be a lot tighter game than when they visited in the first game of season and I'm sure they will be looking to do a lot better than the 7-0 they experienced here that day. I love being part of the Cup and as there is only one cup competition in NZ I'm looking forward to hopefully going far. This club has a rich history in this cup, winning it 6 times, the last being in 1986, so fingers crossed we can progress into the later rounds of the competition and be there or there about towards the end. You can see the success we have had in this competition all over the clubhouse walls and talking with former players who have won it, we know how important it is to the club that we represent the club properly, so unlike the rumours I have been hearing, we will be playing a full strength squad and hoping every club in this competition do the same, resting players when you only have 1 game a week would be disrespectful to the longest cup competition on the planet and also be quite embarrassing for the clubs that do so. I hope you have a good day and hopefully see us progress, get behind the boys and make some noise.

WE AREARE NORTHNORTH SHORESHORE UNITEDUNITED SATURDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2017 – KICK OFF 3PM NRFL – RD 22 Fixture OFFICIAL MATCH DAY PROGRAMME OPPOSITION: MANUKAU CITY Tom Speers - Head Coach Welcome back to the Hill which sees us host our final game of the 2017 season. Firstly our huge congratulations to our visitors, Kevin and his Manukau team, who have achieved back to back promotions. This is a great achievement considering how difficult the league was this year, we wish them luck for next year. As it is our final game I’d like to thank a couple of people who have not only supported me but have helped the club massively this year, Tom Bray, Bill Lissington and Ben Wall, without your help this year would have not gone as smoothly as it has, so thank you. Reflecting on the year, even though we didn't achieve our main target, we can still be pleased with our efforts, considering only 3 members of our team survived from the 2016 season, building a new squad and still accumulating enough points to have gone is still something to be proud of. This years league was extremely competitive, and with the young squad we have I’m sure we will only push on next year. I would like to thank all the sponsors for their continued support as without you the club would not be able to run. And lastly I’d like to thank you, the fans, for your support, it has been great to have your backing week in week out and I know the boys and myself have really appreciated it.

To tie in with this historic milestone, the Lotto NRFL will have a new look and feel with the introduction of a logo and further branding, including social media and this weekly programme, for one of the country’s leading club-based competitions. Box 75 122 War Memorial Park Manurewa Gibbs Rd Auckland Manurewa Phone: (09) 267 1120 www.manurewaafc.org.nz Hello again everyone and welcome to our first derby match for a couple of seasons. These matches are usually hard fought and entertaining regardless of where the teams currently stand on the results ladder. I expect today will be no different. At Manurewa this year we have embarked on a new coaching strategy for the 1st and reserves teams and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Hoani, Nathan, Mark & Steve for giving it a real attempt. We also have two relatively youthful sides this year that I would encourage to gel as a team, learn together and get stronger and better as individuals and as team players. We also welcome a couple of players from overseas, penalty saver Mataias and what red card Pablo. I hope you guys have settled in and are enjoying your time playing for Manurewa. Also welcome back Stephen Carmichael to the club, [I coached him when he was a youngster, oh he still is a youngster] he has scored more goals in three games than one of his coaches did in a year, [let you guess who that is]. To our supporters, once again thank you for the great turn out in numbers, whether home or away, it’s what gets this club mentioned in one way or another and I'm sure it does lift our teams.
