Both teams need to win. For us, the three points will give us a chance of staying up, while for our visitors, 2011 Manurewa, those very same points will guarantee them promotion to the Premier League. Management So this is not your typical end of season, nothing to play Committee for, game of football. It’s not life or death either, but the result will shape the immediate futures of both clubs. Patron Football’s much more real when there’s something big to Jack Poole play for. As this is the fi nal programme of 2011, I’d like to thank President a few people. We have, without question, a superb group Dwayne Barlow of supporters and sponsors. The people and businesses Vice-President who have invested dollars in the club this season have Peter Challis ensured it is possible for us to compete in the NRFL, particularly division 1 where every away game is in Treasurer Auckland. As you can imagine, the running costs are not Dave Mann insignifi cant. Secretary To compete at the level we’re trying to compete at, Julie Clothier being based where we are, means we have a never- ending search for the dollar. To have so many positive Club Captain and long-standing relationships with local fi rms means Chris Bedford we can showcase this level of football in our community. Junior An example of a recent project where fi nancial support Co-ordinator was invaluable was the upgrading of our training lights. Malcolm Raynel The help of Electrico, Matamata Hire Centre and the NZ Community Trust meant this came at minimal cost to the Junior club and was a fi ne example of Matamata people getting Convenor behind their football club. Kim Hancock So thank you to everyone for your support this year. It’s been tough, but we’ll be back for more in 2012. Hopefully we put on a good show this afternoon to give us all something to talk about in the clubrooms later on.
