Christine Valmy has been a leading voice for skin care professionals since the industry began in the United States. In fact, it was Ms. Christine Valmy herself who founded the US esthetics profession nearly 60 years ago.

Driven by her passion for effective, natural skin care and an ardent belief in a more educated approach to treating clients, Ms. Valmy established the first esthetics school in the country and, later, developed the country’s first curriculum for achieving a state license. Her efforts ensured a high standard of expertise for generations of beauty professionals.

For decades, Ms. Valmy worked together with her daughter, Marina Valmy, to develop new, innovative product formulas and treatment methods.

Today, Marina leads the organization and continues to feed her passion for natural skin care with education and product development. When she's not serving as a mentor for students at Christine Valmy International School, she can be found experimenting with ingredients, often late into the night, in the Christine Valmy laboratory.
