HELPING VULNERABLE ISRAELIS

Stemming both from our historic role in building the State of Israel and the recognition that young Israelis cannot connect with their people if they are disenfranchised from society, The Jewish Agency continues to strengthen at-risk populations through providing: Fund for the Victims of Terror • Vital immediate and long-term financial and emotional assistance to Israeli Youth Futures families in the wake of a terror attack Youth Villages • Mentorship to youth and families at-risk; housing and rehabilitation Young Activism for at-risk youth Food Co-ops Amigour • Subsidized housing and programming for the elderly, new immigrants Pre-Army Academies and single-parent families • New initiative to increase the availability of affordable food in Israel’s periphery • Redirecting teens with limited horizons toward career-building opportunities in their compulsory military service

Providing crucial assistance to Jews from around the world to move to Israel —whether they are fulfilling a dream or escaping a nightmare.
