Quitclaim from Denise relict of Geoffrey Daget and also daughter of John Bythewode of Wokyngham, in her full power of widowhood, for herself and her heirs, to Adam de Kyngesmulle and his heirs or assigns, of her right in lands and tenements formerly of William Bythewode, her grandfather, called le Coumb' in the parishes of La Hurst and Berkham, with appurts. To hold to Adam etc. for ever, from the chief lords of the fees by customary services, as fully contained in charter of feoffment by Sir Adam de Louches to Adam de Kyngesmulle. Warranty.

Ratification by William Halybourne, husband of Denise, daughter of John Bythewode of Wokyngham, of quitclaim which Denise his wife formerly made to Adam de Kyngesmulle, his heirs and assigns of all lands and tenements called Le Coumbes in parishes of la Hurst and Berkham according to charter of Sir Adam de Louches to Adam, whereby Adam de Kyngesmulle purchased the lands etc.; also quitclaim for himself and his heirs.

Feoffment from John Chapman, son and heir of Richard Chapman, to Richard Kyngesmyll, gent. of one piece of land called le Brome in Berkeham (Berks) in field called Hacrehaye between land formerly of Henry de la Sindelberch on the west and common heath on the east and abutting on le Suthmore on the south and land formerly of Ralph Taberer on the north; and also two acres of arable land lying together in said Hacrehay between land formerly of said Henry de Syndelberch and land formerly of John Bulloke and extending from land called le Brome to land formerly of said Ralph le Taberer. To hold to above, his heirs and assigns for ever, from the chief lords of the fee by customary services, paying yearly to John Chapman, his heirs and assigns, a red rose on the feast of St. John the Baptist. Warranty.

Feoffment from William de Neville, Lord of Bercham, to Adam
Young (iuveni) of Herbergefeud, for his service and one silver mark, of one place of land in the vill of Bercham called Waremundescroft and lying between Langenhurst and Schortecroft which John Bulloc formerly held, and extending from the great purpresture [enclosure] which the said John sometime held towards the land of the bishop of Sarum, together with common for all his animals in the vill of Bercham everywhere on the donor's land except in his enclosure (Defensione) and le akerhe with pigs or pannage without any impediment. To hold the said land, common pasture with common and with pigs or pannage and the appurtenances to Adam and his heirs or assigns from the donor, his heirs or assigns for ever; paying yearly 2s. for all services, gifts, aids and secular demands, saving reasonable relief and heriot and suit of court. Warranty.

Quitclaim from Robert West of Berkham to Robert Eleyre of
Erburghfeld his heirs and assigns, of his right in one half acre of land with the appurtenances which heretofore he held of the donor for term of his life in the vill of Berkham in a croft near le hacche, and lying between land of Robert ate brudenthuse and land of Joan West his sister, and one end extending to land of the donor and the other end to the common of langenhurst. To hold the said half acre with close (clauso) at the east end and with free entry and exit by the lane of the donor leading from his house to le hacche and all appurtenances, to Robert (as above) for ever, from the chief lords of the fee by customary service. Consideration of a certain sum of silver. Warranty for himself and his heirs.
