A post-race veterinary examination revealed that MARY GOLD had a sore right groin and has been stood down for 7 days.

READY FOR MAGIC was examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and no apparent injury was reported.

Steward's inquired into a report that BRINLEE failed to pursue the lure with due commitment on the home turn. Trainer B. ABERCROMBIE acknowledged the report, subsequently BRINLEE has been stood down for 28 days at Mandurah only & placed on a field satisfactory trial under R69A.
