1 Art Show – Beth & Mike Zipser We are thrilled to have Les Edwards (a.k.a. Edward Miller) as one of our Guests of Honor. He is a multiple award-winning artist with a career of over four decades. We are proud to be able to highlight the work of this important artist. In addition, there will be a special Virgil Finlay exhibit as part of the Art Show to honor his centennial. We are also working on other special exhibits. We may be reached at [email protected]. A special prize of $1,000 will be awarded by WFC 2014 to the best piece in the show, as voted on by the attending artists. The 2014 World Fantasy Art Show is a juried show. If you have shown at two out of the last four WFCs, have been a WFC Art GOH, or have received a for Best Artist, then you are accepted. Everyone else will need to submit for the jury. We expect to open for artist submission and registration in the Spring, so check our web site for more announcements. All exhibiting artists will need to be supporting or attending members of the convention. We will only be accepting mail-in art as space permits; preference will be given to attending artists. There will also be a print shop, open to artists exhibiting original work in the show. Dealers’ Room – Robert MacIntosh Dealers and their staff members must hold attending memberships in the convention. Detailed information regarding the WFC 2014 Dealers’ Room will be going out in the spring of 2014. If you are interested in more information on reserving space in our dealers’ room, please contact me at [email protected]. Program – Colleen Cahill If you have suggestions for program items, particularly suggestions with regard to our commemoration of the centennial of the births of artist Virgil Finlay and author Robert Aickman, and the beginning of World War I, please send them to us by 30 June 2014. Although we have many highly qualified members, WFC Board policy permits only a limited number of panels, readings, and kaffeeklatsches. Our goal is to have an interesting, knowledgeable, and diverse group of participants. Except for Guests of Honor, Life Achievement Award recipients, and Special Guests, participants are generally limited to one item. Even then, it may not be possible for all WFC 2014 members to be placed on programming. Program items and kaffeeklatsches will generally be 50 minutes long in a one hour slot. Kaffeeklatsches will be BYOD (Bring Your Own Drink). If you are interested in participating in the 2014 World Fantasy Convention program, please contact me at [email protected]. 2 Souvenir Book Advertising Rates Full Page Cover Ads • Full Page, Inside Front Cover (full color only): $ 1,200 • Full Page, Inside Back Cover (full color only): $ 1,200 The above options are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
