All trains traveling from Paris to Caen depart at Gare Saint-Lazare.

Route #1. From: Paris Airport Charles De Gaule (CDG, Roissy)
to: Caen (France, Basse-Normandie).
– Once in CDG airport follow « RER Paris By Train ». RER B is the suburban train that will take you to the center of Paris. Tickets can be purchased from machines at the airport (about 9 Euros).
– Exit RER B at Châtelet, take Metro 14 towards Saint-Lazare, exit at Saint-Lazare.
– Or: exit RER B at Gare-du-Nord. There, walk to Gare Magenta and take the train RER E to Haussman Saint-Lazare (very short trip, just one station). At Haussman Saint-Lazare walk to the SNCF station Gare Saint-Lazare: this is the station where trains for Normandy depart and arrive. Just follow the panel “Train Grandes Lignes – SNCF”.
Route #2. From Paris Gare-du-Nord to Paris Gare-Saint-Lazare, and Caen:
at Gare-du-Nord walk to Gare Magenta and take the train RER E to Haussman Saint-Lazare (very short trip, just one station, RER tickets can be bought within the metro station). At Haussman Saint-Lazare walk to the SNCF station Gare Saint-Lazare: this is the station where trains for Normandy depart and arrive. Just follow the panel “Train Grandes Lignes – SNCF”.
Route #3. From: Paris Orly Airport (ORY) to: Caen (France, Basse-Normandie)
You can fly directly to Caen-Carpiquet Airport (CFR). See Air France HOP! : ( http ://www.hop.com/ )
Alternatively take the metro from Paris Orly Airport to Gare Saint-Lazare (tickets can be purchased at the airport and metro stations):
- Take the Orlyval train to Antony. (Very short trip). - At Antony take RER B towards Mitry or CDG Airport, exit at Châtelet. - At Châtelet, take Metro 14 towards Saint-Lazare, exit at Saint-Lazare. - At Saint-Lazare follow: Train Grandes Lignes-SNCF.
Route #4. From: Lyon Airport (LYS) to: Caen – Carpiquet Airport (CFR)
