From: Paris Airport Charles De Gaule (CDG, Roissy) to: Caen (France, Basse-Normandie). – Once in CDG airport follow « RER Paris By Train ». RER B is the suburban train that will take you to the center of Paris. Tickets can be purchased from machines at the airport (about 9 Euros). – Exit RER B at Châtelet, take Metro 14 towards Saint-Lazare, exit at Saint-Lazare. – Or: exit RER B at Gare-du-Nord. There, walk to Gare Magenta and take the train RER E to Haussman Saint-Lazare (very short trip, just one station). At Haussman Saint-Lazare walk to the SNCF station Gare Saint-Lazare: this is the station where trains for Normandy depart and arrive. Just follow the panel “Train Grandes Lignes – SNCF”. Route #2. From Paris Gare-du-Nord to Paris Gare-Saint-Lazare, and Caen: at Gare-du-Nord walk to Gare Magenta and take the train RER E to Haussman Saint-Lazare (very short trip, just one station, RER tickets can be bought within the metro station).
