Google Apps for Education Parent Permission Form (K-5)

To Parents/Guardians,

At Pleasant Grove Independent School District, we use G Suite for Education for students. G Suite for ​ ​ Education is a set of education productivity tools from Google including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Classroom, and more used by tens of millions of students and teachers around the world. At PGISD students will use their ​ ​ G Suite accounts to complete assignments, communicate with their teachers, sign into their Chromebooks, and learn 21st century digital citizenship skills.

Students K-5 only have access to Pleasant Grove ISD Apps, which is a place for students to create, edit, collaborate and share information with teachers and classmates as well as safely store online communication and collaboration documents as they relate to school and their coursework. K-5 will not have email addresses.

In addition, we also allow students to access certain other Google services with their G Suite for Education accounts. A list of additional services is available at https://support.google.com/a/answer/181865.

______Parent/Guardian Permission for Google Suite for Education Account without email: I agree to allow my student ​ to have a Pleasant Grove Independent School District “G Suite for Education” account without an email address. I understand that my student will have access to Pleasant Grove Independent School District “G Suite for Education” suite in order to be able to access online resources to create, edit, collaborate and share information with other teachers and students. I understand the account is for educational purposes and use must meet the expectations outlined in the PGISD Student Technology ​ Responsible Use Policy.

______NO Google Suite for Education Account: I do not want my student to use the Pleasant Grove Independent School ​ District Suite for Education resources in any form.
